Have I told that WP7 is great Os. I said wait till WP8 come. And bro, Meego is far better than ICS. Just check experts review or try Meego first. Nobody is trying to get ICS. They are just doing experiment. It's the potential of the device like HTC HD2, which can run WP7, ANDROID, ubuntu.N9 CAMERA is not working with ICS.
Also there are few things not working with ICS.
Users will remain with their Meego. Of course those who needs multiple apps, they will port to Android. But N9 is not fully compatible with Android.
S40 have enough apps, which will be used as Meltmi Qt.
For feature phones, those apps are more than enough.
You blind fandroid guys always came here to troll. Tell me why have u so much interest in Nokia forum, if u hate the company like a hell.

simple advice to NOKIA start making camera's and stop making smartphones. symbian is a failure and will lead nokia nowhere, so better concentrate on making cameras, leave the smartphone part to samsung,apple and htc

The reason why MeeGO and Symbian isn't ported to other devices isn't due to the fact that they can't is because no one cares. Go to XDA, they build ports of Android and to a very small small extent, WP7. They just don't bother with porting meego and Symbian at all.

being nokia hater my opinion is biased. I believe Mr. Elop management is somewhat the best for (detroying) Nokia - and that's good :-)

Iphone4S has been shown to be some of the best designed even though using glass, Galaxy S II survived temperature drops of pass freezing, 0 C. I still have my Samsung D40 working perfectly fine from 2004. I still have my Nokia N95 too, you're obviously confusing "performing" with "device construction". While I won't deny that Nokia devices are well put together, their performance sucks compared to the competition, why else do you think Android and iOS is the top used mobile OS in the world right now?

Again, like I said, Nokia fanboys like to ignore any factual data. Again my comment stands, your Symbian and Qt have no developers so who's going to buy a device with no developers supporting it? Microsoft Windows Phone 7 has been out a year already. Mango was suppose to be the "real" Windows Phone 7, yet it sucked too. So now Apollo will be the "real" one? What happens when Appolo doesn't do anything either? MeeGo sucked just as much sorry, if it was such a great OS why are nokia N9 owners so excited to get a port of ICS on it? Actually Android was good since 2.1 and 2.3 brought very little improvements to that. 4.0 which is ICS is the real update. Again, WP7 can't even do navigation on the background, can't receive data when taking a call either LOL.

If u read one of my previous posts here u'll see that i hav said that nokia does have a superb build quality n durability. But then tell me, wud u pay more than u wud pay for a few laptops and a few desktop pc's just to get a durable phone n gud design which can b handled roughly but has no comparison with others placed in the same price category in terms of performance? Being sarcastic n asking me to get some sense wont get u some. True windows is immature but are u telling me that ur gonna find many android devices running gingerbread when it does get matured to that level? Pls give some solid base rather than argue just for the heck of it. Dont forget that most of device owners of brands other than nokia have used nokia for a long time before shifting and so they know of nokia's pros n cons. N no need to get offended just bcuz nokia isnt performing. No ones gonna ask u to ditch ur nokia devices. M just sharing my views here.

dude get some sense. Nokia's are the most durable and reliable phone maker. You may argue with it. But it is true. At least they have their designs. Don't copy from Apple like ur Samsuck.
I still having Nokia 1600 in my home.
It has been used very roughly. Still it survive.Even now, sometimes i use it for texting, bcoz it is verf fast and comfortable. Can u show me a 7 year old Samsuck mobile having in good condition.

WP 7.5 is new young OS. So it is not developed well yet. Android 1.5 to 2.2 was also fail till 2.3 came.
So give Microsoft and Nokia some time developed it.
Symbian^3 may be not interesting, but Symbian Belle is awesome. Just check it.NOKIA had given Symbian Belle updates to all its Symbian^3 devices. And Meego was super. It has lot of potential. But Unfortunately trojan Elop kill it. I also hate him for this decision. And Tango? What Tango? Tango has not been released yet. Nokia just annouced Lumia 610.

Also check the specifications of N8 and Ur desire. Desire has much high hardware.

Well, mr. Elop's vision is just as attractive to customers as Windows for Phones. Well... I'm no fan of Android, much less of iOS, or WP7. (WM6 was a better try at some features)...for my purposes Symbian has been excellent. But with mr. Elop at the wheel, seeing windows everywhere nokia is going to become the next motorola, to be bought. The Directors and Shareholders boards what are they doing? Has mr. Elop an infinite credit? Are there limits to the losses before looking for someone else? How low on a market share do they need to be?
Secondly, de-europenizing manufacturing seems questionable. Aren't they conscious enough since Blood in the Mobile?
