It could be introduced during next year's MWC in Barcelona.

It seems like people enjoy paying thousands of dollars to be a beta user for billion dollar corporations.

I will sell my Fold to but Fold 2 but no one pays more than 600
Dollars for secondhand Galaxy Fold on ebay.

Sonu4678, 03 Dec 2019For me, this is stupid. What's the point of the clamshell? ... moreHear what your saying but I think there is space for both - a flip (which Samsung were the leaders on) and a foldable tablet.

Personally I'm bored of the brick / candy bar form factor of the last 10 years and a foldable flip is a welcome return for me but to co-exist alongside with the tablet-folder.

I don't need clamshell design because it doesn't give me anything new !! Samsung improve the current galaxy fold and reduce the price then everything will be good

In my opinion, a foldable screen's only purpose as of right now is providing a bigger screen that can be used for viewing media content (Facebook, Instagram), browsing the internet, watching maps, watching videos, movies and such. When the foldable screen is so delicate, how do you use a foldable phone for gaming or even message apps? You would have to keep pressing the screen over and over knowing your mere fingernail might damage it.

Now with that in mind, why would you want a foldable phone with the same size as a regular phone but that cripples you from freely touching the screen? The Moto RAZR is cool and a nostalgia trip, but in my opinion is nothing but a waste that serves nothing but to brag about it.

For me, this is stupid. What's the point of the clamshell?
Sure, it looks cool n all. It's more pocketable, you could say so. That's not the thing I would care about considering we're doing fine managing today's big phones. Original fold had an actual purpose, they would probably make another refined one in the future.

                    Now this is interesting.
I'm tired of waiting for a compact Android phone and already started considering switching to 5.4" iPhone 12.
Some people don't understand that life doesn't revolve around a phone. I want one that is capable enough when I need it, but most of the time it should be as unnoticeable as possible.

Boo. The clamshell factor doesn't add any funciton to the device besides making it take up less room in a pocket--maybe women with small pockets will rejoice? But those same women will also be vocal about wanting larger pockets on their clothing (yet still buying clothing with small pockets).

Having a double-sized phone part of the time is more useful than having a half-size phone part of the time.
