GS2's ICS looks just like the Gingerbread, lol.
I have played with many phones, and my arc s' UI is most user friendly. Also the LG's but LGs are buggy. As are many droids as well. I hope there will be an EU version of the Sony ION because xperia S is nothing against the new tegra 3 devices, or the monster that will be GS3 these weeks.

There is just something special in everything around the sony ericssons. The in call sound quality is better, the UI is more user friendly (the factory one). The ICS beta was mroe then awesome looking, not like the GS2's - nothing special. And other little things like this, making it different and better. Not everything is power ! This is Sony !

just love how my ray is on the frontline with the i.c.s update. and in all honesty, samsung is the suckiest updater coz Im from kenya, and our updates are under africa. trst me samsung kies sucks, never got an update to gingerbread on my galaxy sl i9003. got so pissed off, sold it at a throw away price, got my ray and on turning it on I got an update to 2.3.4. I loved that feeling of getting updates regardless of your region, I knw its not as immediate as in european countries but I know it will get there in a couple of weeks. so I have full faith in sony, that update is definitely on its way, and id rather get a stable update in may than get a bug filled i.c.s update in april. go sony go. best phones ever. im officialy a sony fan boy, next target, xperia s or xperia sola :-)

The truth is that Xperia users already have the best UI. Other manufactures giving out updates for ICS make their design so basic and full of flaws. I would rather keep patient and wait for Sony to release ICS on their devices. Unlike other companies, Sony does a lot of QA testing and puts quality as their priority!

Ice cream sandwich is no great update. I've tried it on the SGS2, and wasnt impressed. Android has reached its limit. We need a new OS to break boundries, and to challenge iOS.

Oh Sony, always behind. Your devices use last generation components and your software seems to always be behind the times. What happened to you? I used to like your devices now you're just a design firm.

For all of guys any one of you know how to :
1 - Write a software and make it stable
2 - When the source code become available for Sony.
So stop complaining we need an ICS out of bugs
a friend of mine have a Samsung Galaxy after upgrading it to ICS he stat complaining about the stability

Sasha, 31 Mar 2012sony 2011 xperia mobiles have less issues than other phones... moreI have an Xperia Neo and believe me it has BUGS...

The only thing I have against Samsung is their designs..which SONY clearly excels in.. (Xperia S u beauty... :P) Other than that.. they (SAMSUNG) manufacture some great phones...

That being said.. SONY has yet again proved that, it is more than capable of producing excellent phones.. But they still need to work on them..

sony 2011 xperia mobiles have less issues than other phones because they are carefully thought about by sony. whoever said that its more 'buggish' and with more errors must have bought their phones second hand, thru local crap shops, unknown websites or could be they are just plain inborn deffective hands. and i dont settle for hear say, i use it myself. so far anything not samsung with its cheap design is all good.

Scott, 31 Mar 2012Well stan have you looked at the X10 that was released in 2... moreX10 has received only 2 major updates..
                                    1. Upgraded to eclair
                                    2. Upgraded to gingerbread

And when they finally updated their X10 to gingerbread most of the users had already sold theirs... (It literally took MONTHS)

There are some minor bugs if at all in Samsung's updates.. but atleast the phone can be used to the full extent.. more then a few people I know cant open their gallery nor their music player on their 2011 xperia phones..
