indlvarn, 06 Dec 2019It's too expensive. They included OIS in Xiaomi Note 10 and... moreI definitely don't mind the price, OIS is definitely worth it when it comes to low light photography. I actually saw the low light photo between the Mi 9 and the Mi 8, and I definitely prefer the Mi 8 photo all the way.

Anonymous, 06 Dec 2019Wonder if it is possible to add OIS through a future update ..!!OIS is a hardware. It wouldn't come through a future update. Different story altogether with EIS.

Sony 64MP? Well this better be good, let's see how that stack up against Samsung's 64MP.

Anonymous, 06 Dec 2019I'm agree. What they should do is release a Mi Note 10 5G. ... morenote 10 pro's 730g processor cannot handle such speeds. also 730g does not support 5g chips
we need note 10 pro with the new 765g+ 5g just as the k30 5g :)
        that would be nice :)

all worthless. I bought the K20 aka Mi 9T for exactly one reason: very good phone, and no notch.

this punchhole bs is nothing better.
sorry, I am a true notch hater, k30 is a nogo for me, all the time waiting for it for nothing. same with samsung s11.

Please people, stop trying to impress us with shots taking with a professional DLSR pretending it was taken with the phone.

indlvarn, 06 Dec 2019It's too expensive. They included OIS in Xiaomi Note 10 and... moreNo, it's not. You can find a lot older flagships and phones with OIS at good prices. Even some cheap. The SoC lose valour along the time due to the new SoCs, etc, but not the OIS and extra features. Those cost the same and doesn't have influence in have those older phones at good price.

What happens is that manufacturers and phones brands want to keeps the OIS and other features only in their most expensive phones. They know well that OIS help a lot in low light conditions and in general to increase the quality and reduce the noise in several conditions and then they restrict it to the most expensive ones as a point to sell them above the more affordable ones. Is not about the price of the sensor itself or software or drivers, those sensors with OIS usually cost $14 -$34 dollars in the repair hardware providers depending the model, you can buy those by yourself to repair your phone and are the original ones with OIS.

Is like with the software, the flagships have additional features and a better stabilization, better noise reduction algorithm, etc. But in reality at the price K30 or K30 Pro can reach, they earn enough money and profit to add OIS but, of course, they don't want.

Hopefully the Mi Note 10 or the new Vivo X30 or others mid rangers and some older flagships will drop enough in price along the time to buy them at reasonable price. And still have jack, etc. For that reason i hope they release a Mi Note 10 5G plenty of features and being patient until it drops enough in price being a mid ranger for those that want a good camera at a good price after some months. The Mate 20 is a good example or that.

Urbexx, 06 Dec 2019Really bad to use that amazing sensor with no OIS. It's too expensive. They included OIS in Xiaomi Note 10 and and you see the price.

I would rather pick a triple camera setup with telephoto lens than quad setup with macro and depth sensor

Really bad to use that amazing sensor with no OIS.

Sony64 mp or samsung 108 mp guys?

A telephoto cam would be better instead of a macro .......if there is a telephoto lense out there i would definitely go for it.
