.alpha, 06 Dec 2019BS rating. I tested the S10 5G and Note 10 Plus I have with... moreobviously the rating in a battery is the "new" unused value. it degrades over time and will show lower. Also the best way to test is to remove the battery and test out of circuit.

BS rating. I tested the S10 5G and Note 10 Plus I have with an USB multimeter and neither hold more than 3900mAh. The multimeter is pretty in the ball park on other phones and battery bank so I know it is accurate. You can go on Reddit to read people's S10/Note 10 charge report. No one got above 4000mAh

Bill Jobs, 06 Dec 2019I think you don't familiar with Exynos famous battery optim... moreExynos battery optimisation ..... do you call 3.5 %/hour stand by drain for an Exynos S10+ (1 month) an optimization ? No matter number of K mAh in a Samsung S device, it won't last you 24 hours. This was my last samsung ( s2, s5, s8 and s10+) you are hopeless.

Now, we are talking. I know these greedy phone OEMs will only improve battery capacity when they have nothing new to get consumers to buy new phone models.

Anonymous, 06 Dec 2019No, it's not past it's time. The note 7 was a disgrace and ... moreThe biggest failure is iPhone. Samsung corrected their mistake and sent out new units to their customers. They lost over a million pounds but that proves Samsung will deliver the best, no matter what the cost.

tigerbomb1996, 06 Dec 20192019: camera war
2020: battery war2020 is still the war of cameras, with major emphasis on video recording capabilities now with the flagship tier chipsets having the ability to shoot 4K HDR 60fps videos and 8K@30fps clips.
But even if battery war is the main game of 2020, then I'm happy that it's a good game to everyone, as I felt that flagships were somehow falling short in this department, and it's just darn right to expect excellent endurances from thousand dollar phones from the beginning of the next decade.

Anonymous, 06 Dec 2019And that is the price for remove the headphone jack? Other ... moreThe price of removing the jack was to sell more Galaxy Buds, all companies who removed the jack they always said the same excuse like... "is for more space for battery and vibrator" but is all bs, they actually wanted to sell more wireless earbuds.

Anonymous, 06 Dec 2019No, it's not past it's time. The note 7 was a disgrace and ... moreWe should also remember the iPhone 6 that exploded on a childs bag, the iPhone 7 or 8 (i don't remember) that exploded on a Apple store.... All battery's have the risk of exploding if used in a bad eviroment. But here's the thing, Note7's battery was being punchured on the phone's casing so it had the chance of getting bad on some small units, but since Samsung called for a re-call on ALL Note7's including the "safe" ones, everyone made it a big deal like... ALL NOTE7 CAN EXPLODE. But that's not the case, you can even see some videos of people using their Note7's nowdays with no battery explosions.

5000 mah. have been using Samsung flagships for years, the 15 and 25 watts fast charging is great but really bad problem is that it only fast charges when the display is off. it will sho fast charging even with screen on but it does not charge at the same speed as it does with screen off. OnePlus does it so much better it it charges at the same fast speed irrespective of the phone screen being on or off
