Okay... But... Why do we need a camera with 108mp? Can you imagine the size of a photo with that resolution?
I hate this ridiculouness. Throw me back to Galaxy S4 and i'm happy

Can't they at least make the pixels 1um on these these things. Especially the 48mp one to say the least.
Either way. Even the one xiaomi is using would be significantly better in the s11. Better processing, higher end soc, and dial f1.5 and f2.4 aperture.
However if it doesn't come with dual pixel focus or some form of better hybrid focus plus OIS Samsung is ripping us off.

When they could've saved some pixels for larger individual pixels, they chose to do this....
80MP Quad Bayer sensor (20MP effectively) is still high-resolution, but has much larger pixels for the same sensor size, and therefore has much better light gathering capabilities as well.
Is the extra 7MP (from 20MP) really that super useful? Proper digital cameras don't even need such resolution ffs!

I think there's something wrong. Just because the S11+ uses it, doesn't mean the other S11's don't use it...
If the source of info is this tweet itself, I think there's a misinterpretation here.
It just said, "Samsung exclusive", not "S11+ exclusive", these are different things.

This phone is going to be a beast with a rumoured 5000mah battery and a improved camera sensor than the one Xiaomi used.
Xiaomi's sensor captured ALOT of detail but this will hopefully improve it, and take the images alot faster than the Xiaomi device did.
To everyone complaining about mega pixel wars dont worry give it a year or 2 and when Huawei and Apple eventually do it I hope ya guys say the same :D

Megapixel hype, you see, wows the masses more than meaningful tech. Otherwise we wouldn't even have 108MP sensors, but just huge 12, 16, 20+MP sensors.
