As I have gathered from reading this it will only be for japan, but what about us fans of neon genesis that would love to our hands on one of these handsets!!! They need to spread the market on these and make them worldwide ;)

This phone was released to promote the upcoming movie, Evangelion 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo. It's cool to work for Nerv. That is, until the U.N. forces come to torch everybody in it... At least you can record your untimely demise in HD.

My 2years phone has 512MB of Ram and it's not "thick" anymore.

They could've named it EVA but honestly NERV sounds better, the next thing they should do is to make a Gurren Lagann phone, looks like there has been some agreements between gainax/whoever owns the franchise and Sharp.
Still, it's really cool that I wished I could see it outside Japan

Hence why many prople who have upgraded their dual cores phones from GB to ICS have seen discernable performance increases.
In terms of the PC it is the equivalent of buying a Windows Vista PC a year after Windows 7 shipped. Remember that Android versions come out much more frequently than Windows ones. Only a fool would do that.
ICS is way better than GB and to think they piddled aroung with GB for ages just cements the stupidity of this. Why not plough money and resources in to the latest rather than something that is on its way out by definition?

Loved this, don't see any other problem exept being limited and japan only. That's the real dealbbreaker here (and maybe money...)
