GrandMaster, 10 Dec 2019You are not wrong. But my point is, you said that there are... moreeven way before pubg's release, there already were mobile games that can go as high as 120fps. when razer outed their phone 1, they listed a handful of games on the phone's page that can go as high as 120fps and another list of games that cannot go beyond 60fps but supports the razer phone 1's 120Hz. the fact of the matter is, it really doesn't matter if the game or app supports 120Hz because the display engine "ultramotion" upscales 60fps to 120fps. per razer on its "ultramotion" engine, the display controller can detect if it is displaying a rather static picture so it can go down to as low as 2Hz to save battery. the fact remains that the high refresh rate is there if ever the content being displayed needs it.
on power consumption, high refresh rate on mobile phones is actually quite different than that of gaming monitors. the oems suggests that the high refresh rate on their devices' screens are constant as with gaming monitors (gaming monitors usually can be variable or constant), but the truth is that it is only variable in mobiles. variable not in the sense that if the content is only running at 30fps then the screen goes down to 30Hz as well, their display controllers as smart enough to detect motion being displayed on the screen and calibrates the screen refresh rate in real time- 30fps is upscaled to 120Hz.
then to answer those naysayers of the high refresh rates whether it be on gaming monitors or mobile phones- it is a fact that people who have excellent vision can appreciate up to 1000fps, and most people can distinguish up to 150fps.

What a crap phone. Took all of the features that made the K20 a success and eliminated them. Who is running this company?

Anonymous, 10 Dec 2019IPS is an upgrade or a downgrade, depending on how you look... moreI disagree with your opinion for many reasons. Firstly, the performance will be infringed by the use of an LCD panel. It will allow for slower colour reproduction times and will not give the same speed an amoled would give. The camera will be affected as It will not take amoled quality photos but instead colours will be duller. I respect your opinion but i think it's wrong. Have a good day

Ayan, 10 Dec 2019Would have preferred a 90Hz display with Snapdragon 855+ instead.I'm sure they are saving the best features for K30 Pro.
In order to make the device more affordable, some cuts need to be made. We can't eat our came and have it.
I'm sure K30 Pro will blow us away 😁

Anonymous, 10 Dec 2019IPS display is not an upgrade. It is actually a downgrade. ... moreIPS is an upgrade or a downgrade, depending on how you look at it. IPS supports higher refresh rates which is why the screen will be 120Hz. Yes OLED does look nicer in terms of colours but that's about all. Battery life is actually decreased if it is a really bright panel.

The only thing that seems wrong with this phone is the camera setup. Sure there is wide and ultrawide, but what's the point of macro and depth sensor? Only a handful few would be interested with macro photography. As for depth sensor, I never like it from the start - fake AI bokeh is a total joke. I would definitely wait for a phone with quad-camera setup like Oppo's Reno Ace or Reno2, but with Sony's new 64MP camera.
