that is so true. why waste your money on this item wherein you can buy 3 items for $1000 which you can separately. The price is an epic fail indeed.They should have made the price cheaper. Well if you are a wise buyer you would not buy this item. The idea is cool but I will not waste my money on this.

If you want to use the phone, you can't use the tablet, you can't use the netbook(tablet and the dock attached to). If you use the tablet, you can't use the phone(inside the tablet), you can't use the netbook(akward position to use both keyboard and touchscreen). If you use the netbook ... and that's my point. Plus it looks uglier too, this isn't even half the beauty of Transformer Prime.

I think with the Carrier subsidy a price tag of 400 would be nice for all inclusive...that's only about 500 off and it's feasible !!

Sure, getting tablet, phone and keyboard dock for $1000 doesn't seem like a terrible deal for everything unlocked, but consider this:
Tablet dock doesn't work by itself. Its not a tablet, its a docking station. Thus it can't be used when you use phone elsewhere.
