Obviously lumia should be better as they are partners of ms. And when can you use nokia music for lumia? I thot it was zune? The lumia crap has to do everything using zune, has a shorter battery life than htc, the sound was so bad ot has to be updayed, camera is rubbish as well the worst 8mp iv ever seen.

Or reason is only profit, with logic “always missing something” in a sense “we have they don’t “ but in the next model we will add more and etc., they all do in a same way , and finally I’m HD2 user from its first issue, it is ok, it is piece of work, reliable, strong and works perfectly, what else do I need.

The only 4.0" or less phone announced by HTC for 2012 is the One V. The One V is over 120mm tall which is huge for a 3.7" phone. Only 512mb ram too.

If HTC are going to mainly compete on 4.3"+ sized phones then they will compete with Samsung and AMOLED technology (and true RGB AMOLED tech at that).

HTC have let Sony, Apple and even Motorola take the smaller phone end of the market. HTC once ruled that end of the market.

HTC phones have great specs, except for their cameras and DESIGN. When you put a not so known but powerful htc device beside a mid range xperia and galaxy, general public will choose either of the latter two since those two are already well established in the market. unless htc begins heavy funding of advertisements to make them known to more people.

I think its becasue their phones now lack variety, They're all essentially the same as far as hardware design. For that matter, every manufacturer seems to have the same basic design now. How about a vertical slider or bring back an optical joystick and large screen or just anything different. Not all the phones, just a few...nothing wrong with giving consumers options. justa thot.... :)

Its no wonder when they keep producing shoddy phones..This is now 2012 and they are still using shoddy speakers not very good cameras, choppy video recording and poor microphones.

yes, I had an HTC and I moved to Lumia 800 without any regrets, better casing, better screen, free navigation (thanks yo Nokia Drive), free music (thanks to Nokia Music), better sound... is it a coincidence that when the Lumia was launched, HTC dropped?

They take lesser power and find the screen rendering simply brilliant. I can see the IPS LCD 2 being quite a gem to look at with the high PPI, but some of us want Super AMOLED HD screens.

i think htc and nokia downfall is due to their pricing strategy. and samsung is rocking coz they introduce cellphone for all the segment of people. now this is understood by htc and they reduced their phone prices drastically and nokia is not understanding this at all. even nokia doesn't hv any android smartphone. windows phone is rubbish
