Still gonna be Samsung 100× lossless zoom by corephotonics who were responsible for this in the oppo find vs 100× digital zoom on p40 pro.
We can all agree lossless zoom>digital zoom.
Samsung has better software than huawei.

Even Huawei put 64MP against Samsung's 108MP Huawei will still be unbeatable because of their latest IMX700 sensor which will be better than any competitor just like their IMX600! As far as the leak goes it will be a massive 1/1.2" sensor, Megapixel is worthless, without sensor to accompany it. and they are also changing RYYB format to a new format that will absorb even more light but stay true to color science
So basically Samsung will still be defeated although Samsung will sell more with Google's support IYKWIM

Huawei is the leader in providing optical zoom on a smartphone. The Mi Note 10 also has an interesting setup offering 2 telephoto cameras.

Please don't confuse a 5.0x optical zoom setting with a 5.0x zoom setting, these are two completely different things! For example the P30 Pro doesn't have a 5.0x optical zoom setting because optical zoom always keeps the megapixel count constant, otherwise digital zoom could be called optical zoom. The P30 Pro has an 8 megapixel 125mm equivalent camera (which is used as a 6.9 megapixel 135mm camera) , that's comparable to the amount of details you would get with a 10 megapixel 112mm camera or a 12.2 megapixel 101mm camera, so when compared with a 27mm 12.2 megapixel camera, this is comparable to the details of a 3.7x lossless zoom factor.
Furthermore don't confuse optical zoom with optical zoom setting. 2x optical zoom isn't the same thing as a 2.0x optical zoom setting. When someone says that the iPhone Xs has 2x optical zoom, that's completely wrong. Actually even saying "2.0x optical zoom setting" is still wrong. Actually no phone has a true optical zoom setting because for example a true 2.0x optical zoom setting has twice the focal length. No 2.0x optical zoom setting of a current smartphone camera has twice the focal length. Apple's main camera has a focal length of 4.25mm, the portrait camera only has 6.0mm
