LG G9 renders show a quad camera on the back and a G8X-like design

Yes, including the teardrop notch. Interestingly, it seems that the display is flat, despite current design trends.

169mm long? Is this a tablet or a phone? How stupid can this big screen trend be? How can u put phone in pocket when sitting down?

LG G9 is 169mm tall, so I think it will have 6.9 inch screen because of thin bezels and that size. Because if it was 160-165 mm tall then it would have 6.6-6.8 inch screen.

Despite the price that will be obscenelly high. "The LG G9 measures 169.4 x 77.6 x 8.8mm, 9.4mm if you include the camera hump." These phones are no more "pocket friendly". At least, not for men and normal pants/trousers. Uncomfortable to the point of avoiding buying them in favor of more normal/compact models.

Is that a headphone jack and a big SIM tray with space for a microSD card? I'll take one if it has global LTE bands too. I have a Galaxy S9+ and don't want to deal with the touchscreen glitches of a curved screen in my next phone.

I love LG phones, very underrated. The V30 is probably my favorite Android phone of all time.

            What of Face ID

Camera design is more alike with Samsung S10 which looks wayyyy better than horizontal iPhone X ripoffs. Those dimensions tho...They're REALLY HUGE. Almost as large as Nubia Red Magic 3 / ROG P2. If LG is putting humongous batteries then this is seriously dope. Also this is heaven for users who like large phones.

                  I like this...

                    Any chance for IR blaster?

                      well done LG!

With such a superb HiFi Quad DAC stereo, LG should keep the 3.5mm jack alive. That is basically an audiophile dream.

Oddly looking forward to this release. I think a big flat screen, stereo speakers, and a monster battery (along with a sliver of proper advertising) could actually net LG some sales!

                            Loops good

bj80sbaby, 04 Jan 2020Good job LG for keeping jack around! Now to see if they keep the super duper ultra mega sticky battery glue they used on the G8.That one which needed a solvent to remove and still end up getting bent by JRE.

Note to LG: ensure WiFi6 support.

Looks like the note 8 in the back.

If its not so overpriced or atleast in par with the pricing range with chinese smartphones, I might consider buying it.
