There won't be a Pixel 4a XL, rumor has it

Apparently we're only getting one size of the company's next mid-ranger.

LEEDAQ, 04 Jan 2020who cares, most of us want to see SE2 I would rather see an Apple made android handset.

Note to Google: offer a 6 gb ram variant.

It's not looking great if they decide to put in the backside the Fingerprint (rear-mounted), they should make it the Fingerprint (under-display) or (side-mounted)

In my view a Pixel 4a XL with a bigger 6.2"-6.4" oled screen with the new notch-less form factor would have been perfect to go with the

Essen, 04 Jan 2020Goes to show buyers will lap up a well-specced compact phone?Agree. But what worries me is this, Google had success with a compact form factor, yet they released a compact flagship and reduce the battery. Bit of a silly trick really. I have come to the conclusion that Google use dice to make their decisions.

There are huge number of big screen phones with good enough specs to compete with Pixel A series, but there are no compact devices (excluding Mi 9SE which is not available in US), so this is a logical decision.

After the announcement of the pixel 4 and 4xl, interest about the about Google phone's died. Happy burial.

Finally Google. Thank you. Release it early @March.
Now please put an pixel bud or specifically designed head set to go head to head with SE 2 cz Pixel 3 had all with pixel bud and sold at @349.

If they keep the same powerful camera system as the Pixel 4, along with dual stereo speakers, FHD+ AMOLED screen, relatively large battery, at least a SD710, and retain the same price as last year's 3a, then it might be worth considering.
I was actually surprised by the fact that Google was able to offer the same exact camera system on their $400 mid rangers as on their top-tier flagships. And yes, that includes the OIS on the main camera, which I believe should be a mandatory feature for phones costing $400 and beyond.
Of course there'd be no problem when it comes to the software, Google is known for that masterpiece.
