Well man i am not telling you it was y personal advice whether you take it or no its your choice.
I am not forcing anyone to buy anything its not my style.
Like apple not forcing its customers to buy a 900 eur devices with LCD screens and a 5V 1A charger inside the box tiny battery and many other bad habbits.
Its the stubborness of customers who are get deceived by this brand and buy anyway even they know its definitely not worth the asking money.

Its not the best price but at least i have no collar around my neck.
If i want to swap i can leave any time compared what offers Telecom or Orange 2 years of contract and a very high fine if i leave before my plan ends.

I hope it comes with an IPS panel and pop-up or at least very small notch/single hole.
Also, SD slot, 3.5mm, 4500mAh battery
A single very good camera would be enough, any extra ones are a waste

AnonD-847158, 13 Jan 2020You sound like my mom saying that 1 Gigabyte of Data is eno... moreActually a decade ago almost all smartphones (except iphone) had expandable memory, so the built-in didn't matter as much for mass storage. Streaming services, cloud services and (near) unlimited data packages were not close to being as relevant as today.
I'm now trying youtube music (with youtube premium included) instead of spotify. Just switched this month. You can still have your offline playlists, but it doesn't need to take that much space as say your whole media collection. I don't need my christmas playlist available offline (store locally) during at least nine months of the year, just as an example. It's a lot easier, and faster, to set a playlist as available offline or not compared to connecting phone to PC and transferring new songs and deleting old.
Pictures and videos gets backed up by both Google Photos (lossy) and OneDrive (lossless), and then wiped from the phone's local storage. So I actually use a lot less local storage today, then I did 10 years ago.
I would need a 512GB phone to keep just my photos and videos on local storage. Plus a lot more hassle to keep those files on offline backups onto drive/PC compared to automated cloud backup. I did that once, and maybe once a year I replaced the external HDD in my safe deposit box at my local bank, in case of a fire at home. It was a hassle and still a risk of loosing a lot. Both in the lag between pictures/videos taken until backed up on external drive or PC, if the phone was lost/stolen/defective. And especially in case of a fire and up to a year of data lost. Office 365 Home (6TB OneDrive) is actually about half the price of my old safe deposit box, so near instant backup at a lower price and also the risk of that external drive saying bye bye is also gone.
This doesn't mean that I don't have my photos and videos on my PC anymore, they get there automagically by OneDrive and can be stored locally as well.

I hope they put ois for camera and improved it's software processing. Poco F1 takes better pictures with camera mod from pixel phones than stock camera. Although I'm happy with battery life. I hope they put in bigger battery and increase base storage variants.
I'm tired of notch designs.thats the only thing I hate about poco F1. I hope it has face I'd and pixel 4 like design.

since leaving samsung in 2018, i have been able to try myself firsthand a few flagships by buying them outright and then reselling after a month or less with little to no depreciation in value at all. i also have began earning for online tech contents i have been writing for the last 4 years, so i can very well afford myself these flagships when they come out. for 2019 i have bought and tried so far the xperia 1, galaxy note 10 plus, redmi k20 pro, black shark 2, and the asus rog phone 2. shortly after i sold my galaxy note 8 early 2018 i took up the razer phone 1, then late 2018 i replaced it with the razer phone 2, but then the pocophone f1 came and i bought my unit january 2019.
so far, despite having issues on their own, the flagships that i have kept the longest are the razer phone1, razer phone 2, pocophone f1, and the asus rog phone 2, with the pocophone f1 being the longest at almost a year now.
what really drew me into using the pocophone f1 as my daily driver is the fact of this lot of phone you get for a fourth of the price of flagships (i got my pocophone f1 for $270- 6/64GB). i had issues with touch latency but it was fixed with a simple screen calibration app, and i also seem to have developed ghosting/image retention over one of the updates last year. other than that, the f1 was amazing and can easily go head to head even with 2019 flagships. well, it cannot match in gaming and screen refresh rate my other phone- asus rog phone 2, but as far value for money goes this is still the smartphone to beat. many say that the pocophone f1 is really not a flagship, rather an upper midrange device fitted with a flagship soc; well, this was the case with the oneplus one but it was considered a flagship. my argument is that this has most of the bells and whistles of flagships of 2018 except for ois and glass and metal body. xiaomi demonstrated here that flagship specs do not have to come with premium material- it would work just fine with plastic.
then there is also the software updates. xiaomi has done amazing in this regard with this phone despite being "cheap". it is amazing how a hardware feature could be served by xiaomi on the software side- like 960fps slow mo, hdr 10 support, and widevine l1. i am not sure how xiaomi has somehow enabled these if the f1 hardware do not support it, but then it simply worked. i know the 960fps is because of frame interpolation, but i am not sure about widevine l1 and hdr 10.
if xiaomi prices the f2 the same as the f1, i'll have no iota of doubt about its capabilities and will simply snap one up the moment it is available.

I am using a 240hz monitor for PC gaming and can tell you that high refresh rate screens are useless except for gaming. Movies and tv shows rarely reach above 60fps(60hz) and browsing the web doesn't require higher than 30fps(30hz). The only reason you would get higher than 60hz screen is just for gaming but then you might as well get a gaming smartphone for its gaming specs.

[deleted post]You think MTK chips are that bad? Helio G90T is excellent despite its toll on battery life. Software optimisation is also the key to fast phones.
Look at Dimensity 1000, it's actually a good SoC.
Anyway SD865 can't even beat Apple A12X or A13, even in terms of GPU power. Both are expensive chips, MTK ones are cheaper.

*I really hope they choose plastic for pack cover rather than glass. i don't understand the hype around glass because it breaks easily if u drop your phone and beside that if you want to repair your phone you will go through nasty glue heating and hard disassembly.
*OIS in camera would be a HUGE plus. and a tele camera is a must for me.
*90hz and amoled would be nice.
*3.5 mm jack and IR and ... should be present.
*I dont mind if they use a 855 chipset but since we are going to 5g era i think they need to use 865.
