YUKI93, 12 Jan 2020Let's see what is wrong with the Poco F1. - Less than stel... morelet's keep the plastic back to keep the cost down. i really don't mind plastic at all. i have used flagships with metal frames and glass backs, and i see it is all for show. people argue the glass back is needed for wireless charging- well, again, i have used flagships with wireless charging and it is slow that i have almost never used wireless charging at all. about the "less than stellar lcd screen", it actually had one of the most accurate colors of recent smartphone screens, although there was a problem with the brightness and some units did have the backlight bleed and ghosting. i would like to have the same screen but with the issues fixed. i don't mind the cheap feel as i don't have to show off- i currently have the pocophone f1 as my daily driver and an asus rog phone 2 for media consumption and gaming.

And the case is very important.
For what you need a gorilla glass if the phones are made from galss sandwich and if not front then back of the phone the glass will breaks with ease.
Case is the most important think.
Same gioes for propr screen protector.
GG66 for example in most flagships cost about 15-20 dollars. Compared to panzer glass for maybe a half dollar which will make same thing but make your screen a 0,25 mm thicker.

I have used the Razer Phone in my local phone store which has a 5.5" 120Hz IPS and there is a HUGE difference in smoothness whilst scrolling compared to other phones. I suggest you actually try using a 120Hz smartphone yourself before writing rubbish on the internet.

60hz LCD is enough for poco. If you need higher refresh rate and rate amoled go buy the upcoming the upcoming s20+ ultra or something. Poco is never trying to make a perfect smartphone for everyone. Poco's moto is "everything you need nothing you don't". High performance is all you need with all other basic features and plastic/metal body. Make the new poco a tool not a luxury.

I wonder how F2 would stack up. I definitely believe that Xiaomi can't produce another so-called "flagship killer" unless they don't mind recording more losses.

My home TV Sony Bravia for 2500 bucks is capable of 240 Hz but thats a 50 inch TV.
A 6 inch phone screen whether you have 60 or 120 Hz it does not matter because you pay more for something you know you have but you cant see it because human eye cant spot even a single detail of that on such a small screen.

Here in Slovakia unlimited internet for a cell phone is fronm as low as 12 euros per month.
And we speaking about 4G LTE conectivity.
Storing tons of MP3 or MP4 files into a phone is just burden for phone and for me.
