From the video it looks like the screen has a very tiny curvature on the sides which is really good. It looks even smaller than the curve on the S10 or Note10. Happy to see Samsung take a step back and not go with an awful waterfall screen like on the Mate 30 Pro.

Anonymous, 16 Jan 2020Sit down boy, Bluetooth is still inferior to wired. Yeah wired is better cause internetz said so! :)

It's not about wired or wireless it's what's in the headphones that count since there is no audio dedicated hardware in the phone that benefits the playback besides few software tweaks. I can guarantee you that 1000X will dominate any wired ear buds up to $200. Yes, there are some really good wired cans for a lot less like $50 that really resonate well and give warm sound and stage, I know which one are those but that's because I've spent over $2,000 on the headphones already. That's also how I know if you have expensive headphones you will not hook em up to a phone but instead into a portable music player at least if you are on the move.

[deleted post]"There will be a lot more space for something much more usefull than useless obsolette lousy hole."

lol, asus zenfone6 can have big battery while keeping the jack, and asus rog phone have this jack along with their additional ports while still keeping big battery, so removing jack hole can affect almost none to the space used and we could see lot of manufacturer can provide ample of features like big battery while still keeping the jack and got IP 65 rating along with mil-std

LOL, 16 Jan 2020Stop whining about the headphone jack already. You can get ... moreMidrangers are inferior and get poor software updates compared to flagship, so getting jack in flagship matters.

Also, while absence of jack might always not be a deal breaker, presence of jack might be a dealmaker for many. I passed over Mi 9SE and oneplus 7 (best alternatives that time, in my country) , because galaxy matched them in nearly every department , while also providing audio jack.

Stop whining about the headphone jack already. You can get a $200-$300 midrange phone now and it'll have a headphone jack. Go ahead and knock yourselves out.

Also, Sony might bring back the headphone jack in its 2020 flagship phones. All you diehard headphone jack fans can consider giving Sony your business... Apple sells more iPhones in one week than Sony sells Xperia phones in a quarter.

Besides jack is not essnetial it never was so its get removed.
That ousy hole in any phone is only good for catching liquid debris and other fuss and mess.
Plenty of vires also got in the way for other more useful things a phone without jack would and should have.

Last Major OEM to ditch analog jack and Bluetooth SIG is not making any move to improve sound quality.

                What they are thinking ?

To remind you, the speed necessary to support better quality is already there.
LE tops out at 2mbps, enought to transmit uncompressed 16/44100 files and even if we assume that actual speed is lower, say 500kbps, thats still enough for good codecs like OGG Vorbis.

Reason we ain't getting better audio, it's because we aren't demanding.

is so funny seeing so many complaining about jack port in 2020. These ppl are probably too broke anyway to afford the phone since they can't afford a good pair of quality bluetooth headphones and still love their messy wired headphones .

That's the only one that's going to sound good cause all others are inferior to LDAC streaming with software assistance and active headphones. Even if your phone has headphone jack there is most likely not enough power to push your headphones and if your headphones wake up real early then you will hear how crappy is all that analogue gear inside the phone.

Point is if you have high quality audio wired headphones your phone is most likely inadequate for them. If you have $25 buds then upgrading to LDAC headphones will make a world of difference. That's the logic I guess.
