15 January 2020
The new image is much more detailed than the dark renders we saw in December.

Everyone copy Apple but no one admit it very funny

NaNI!, 15 Jan 2020u cannot flash custom rom in Huawei devices :)Not a problem for me, I treat Huawei's EMUI 10 as their own custom ROM.

Shui8, 15 Jan 2020No point if the sensor are small. Lots of chromatic aberrat... moreTrue, though the Honor 20 Pro has a 1/2" 48 MP sensor. So it isn't all that large. Also, the difference between f1.4 and f1.5 is less than 17% more light.
The new larger 1.8 micro pixels on the new S20s with much faster readout should help improve low light as well as detail and sharpness.
I am also very curious about the new 52MP sensor on the Huaweis. Huawei usually does great in the Photography department.

Completely agree looks smart device. But uk wont get it so pointless getting excited about it. Keep to my Samsung at least that wont get banned.

The cameras look much prettier than the galaxy s20

Oppaii, 15 Jan 2020As if Huawei has a very clean & safe software xDI don't hear or read any news whatsoever about Huawei data mining their users, so I definitely say that they are clean until there is solid proof or evidence about it.

The worst problem right now is that smartphones looks all the SAME! Most of them are very Identical and companies isn't bothered and also the biggest problem is that consumer doesn't seem to care. (Wheres your taste yall)

I do. Thank God that I can have a phone without any Google spyware whatsoever installed. Oh sure I can just flash custom ROM onto any Android device (which I did multiple times), but that's just a mere fun for geeks.

Fintoyu, 15 Jan 2020WHO CARES ABOUT HUAWEI NOWDAYS, AS LONG P40 WILL NOT BE SOL... moreI find these articles interesting. So I care. Clearly so do a lot of people here. Stop ruining other people's fun.

WHO CARES ABOUT HUAWEI NOWDAYS, AS LONG P40 WILL NOT BE SOLD IN EUROPE ??? Like Mate 30 Pro, P40 will be a phantom, sold only in China. You can buy it from Ebay, Alibaba , but why ?? Why should you struggle to sideload a virtual machine with Google Services on a P40 as long it costs like a Samsung S20 ????

That rear camera design is actually not too bad, it does look good. Also, I noticed that the camera will have a variable aperture just like what Samsung had done before back in S9 and S9+. Definitely welcome that feature.

The Last Oracle, 15 Jan 2020Those fake P40 Pro renders were pretty impressive. This loo... moreNo point if the sensor are small. Lots of chromatic aberration & softer image will emerge. JPEG compression can cleverly eliminates that of course. If the sensor size are bigger than 1/1.5", i think f1.6 is the sweet spot.

The widest on a smartphone ever was on Honor 20 Pro, which is at f1.4.
