It is indeed rather strange that BlackBerry devices weren't included in this test.. Commonly known they produce very good visibility in broad daylight...

Why BlackBerries not included in this list? BB phones are great in broad day light

No mention of lumias;what does it mean?Dont they have sunlight legibility?
S.G.S scored well above S.G.S2.What does it mean?More advanced phone, more prone to
                  glare?

Antonio, 18 Apr 2012Xperia S? The best contrast phone is not on the list!! Wiered..Because its not. It is physically impossible for any LCD to higher contrast than amoled due to black pixels being off and having such beautiful colors. By having such extreme contrast, deep blacks, vivid colors and eliminating backlighting it was a no brainier the amoled screens would come out on top. They are marvelous even in direct sunlight

Nicely compared. But the article needs precision when comparing such values.

Hi guys, think your missing one of the top phones this year, the Xperia S.

I'd be interested to see how that does in your test

It would be very much good if you could add Desire S also in the line.

Meh. When do we get a proper GPS test? With tracks recorded, etc, something detailed. Instead of the usual comments about how fast it locks.
Most modern phones like the SGS2 have crappy GPS and no one cares.
