And irrelevant. The point was someone whining about 12gb of ram and the fact despite the lies even iPhones suffered issues from low ram. Because it's just a logical issue.
But that more ram alone doesn't fix it. Developers...of all os's...not just androids and not just iOS...need to better optimize things

And implied foolish beliefs for a whole other conversation. Oh it was bad enough when you said Android needs 12gb....which I never said ....but now you think iOS needs it??? Never said that either.....And for you information they use about identical amounts of ram for many processes.

                And you don't even understand your own argument. You were sitting here whining because 12gb is too much....which is so ridiculous to whine about....when the issue is lazy developers and greedy companies. Yes more ram doesn't push them...but neither did less ram much more unfortunately. And it's not related on a technical level. It's related thanks to companies not caring. And people not knowing better or actually complaining about the upgrades.

                And you could have said that from the beginning rather than whining that you don't need 12gb of ram.
                Seriously. Think about what you are doing and saying before typing.

                      There is a point of diminished return, and we are already there. Anything more just contributes to lazy developers using more RAM than needed, affecting everyone on the android platform, especially the low end which is the majority. And remember that people keeps their phones longer, so anyone with a phone from 3 years ago is gonna see their experience affected.

                      This are just bragging rights.

                                  We should just be happy for 1000+ dollar phones that can't even upgrade ram....oh I don't need 12gb and they upgraded consistently for a couple years rather than adding it to the list of other things stale in upgrades ...                                     That's 3x in 3 years. No app can need that much increase in that little time, that's why it's ridiculous.
                                    Apple has been forcing developers to optimize their apps as much as possible to avoid that gluttony (apart from being greedy) by settings limits on how much an app can use instead of letting them use whatever they want.

                                    That S9 shouldn't be suffering from constant reloads if the apps weren't bigger and bigger every year. It's a phone from 2018, it should behave well!

The Bluetooth they get to use regardless either way. When there was no reason or benefit to it's removal on a consumer end. It's literally control and greed.

So for the apps that might use it and for a couple years into the future they get more bogged down. Just like people used to say there was no reason for the increase in CPU/ram/storage 10 to 15 years ago with phones.
                                        And just like phones from 2010 on got slowed or left behind in part from low ram. Including iPhone despite the claims of otherwise.

                                        So it makes more sense.... Especially since many other upgrades have been slacking while prices go sky high for them to just stick to like 4 to 6gb of ram. Or for people to sit on a web page and whine that this ram upgrade is too much. Just because it won't be needed for a couple years or so...or not everyone needs it yet....
