Huawei has to answer to China's communist party, too, and has to keep prices low in order to gain users in price-sensitive markets where privacy, security concerns and Google compatibility are secondary to price, and where regulators don't have the will or the power.

Within ten months S10 Plus has dropped to astonishing 60% of the original asking msrp, that's quite drastic. On contrary the poorest sales performing flagship of 2019 Xperia 1 has suffered only 35% loss in price so far.

This technology should not be implemented yet. It was rushed and there are reports of many side effects. Some true, some false. But the weak signal confirms that it's years too early for 5G.

And going to the future you have to take step at the early stage. The spectrum range is weaker doesn't mean it won't stop giving its servers. This is one of most invested site now.. So don't worry about weaker range..

5G is a future yes, but it's in early stages. Who would want a singal that can get interrupted by a single tree or a corner ?
Then there is also the thing about 5G being bad for environment, us and animals.
I don't know how much of it is true, but it can't be good for anything if there are so many towers in one small area.

The last redemption for Samsung could be giving a reasonable discount to areas where only Exynos version will be available since they're going to have to deal with worse version of the full Snapdragon variant, a.k.a. 'oh our contract is ending but we still need to get rid of the last CPUs'.

Prices of phones went up b... morePrices went up only in Samsung, Apple and other greedy companies products that want to profit the 5G to do that. On the other hand. Xiaomi, Huawei and others will release phones with 5G as cheap as $150 this year. So the 5G is not an excuse to increase prices and of course not useless.
If you are angry because the increase in prices, go against those greedy brands, not against the 5G itself. And also not buy their products to vote with your walled closed. You'll have cheaper and/or more reasonable alternatives in other brands. Less if you are one of those that can't live without X or Y brand and logo in your pocked or to show it.
