Apple reports record iPhone revenue over the holidays while wearables sales soar

We don't stock these and recommend nothing less than an iphone 8 but she special ordered the 7. Here last device was a 4s, she uses her devices for a long time, but she is buying devices with less then 2 years of support ahead of it that she will try to use for 4-5 years. Not to mention the multitude of hardware issues that plagued the i6 - i7 devices.

So yes, many people will buy an iphone because they are told it is simpler, and has longer support. However they are buying the wrong devices to support that claim so they would be better off with an Android device that is new, with out battery and flexing issues, and has longer support. The majority of people buying a new Apple device of current or previous generation have no intent on keeping it for more then 3 years, so update length is mute.

No vpn, no battery saving app etc. And bought an unlocked phone. I know how to manage a smartphone and from my part it has been totally ok. New Samsung with one ui is better than old ones but still... You know. I didn't buy all those Chinese craps because i thought Samsung should be the best android experience on while maintaining security issues. But i am wrong.

I've exclusively used Android for over a decade and won't switch to iOS. I'm more than aware that Apple doesn't care about me, or their own customers for that matter. "Better" is subjective. All consumers have different needs, and prefer iOS or Android based on those needs. Most consumers would choose Apple over Android for 5 years because they're the only manufacturer that doesn't abandon their phones in that time period. I don't have a problem with calling out Apple on their business practices. But I do have a problem with being biased, no matter if it's to iOS or Android.

Samsung's last 3 generations of handset have been rock solid. I would recommend a few points of maintenance. Remove any cleaning, antivirus apps and any battery saver, security, flash light or vpn apps that are not factory installed or from a widely trusted paid service provider. Secondly back everything up and do a factory reset. If you bought the device from a service provider that loads their own apps on the phone then flash a clean rom on it as some provider especially in the U.S. badly cripple devices with bloated service provider apps and stripped functionality.

                    I sell phones in Canada, I see hundreds of these devices leave our store and for the last few years I have significantly less software and hardware issues come back on Samsung then any other devices we regularly sell including Apple. That being said, our service provider only pre-installs a single user account app so it is very clean os compared to many other providers.

I bought a s10e to replace my 6s plus but I am totally not satisfied with it. it gets warm frequently, sometimes the apps crash although the display is awesome. anyway I am thinking about getting back to iphone. the restrictive OS seems better than the open and free crashing one.

                          Thin devices bend if you apply force, get over it. No-one in real life will have real problem with it.

                            i am waiting for 2 hardware changes and i will change ships from android to apple

                            1 is USB-C
                            2 is 128GB as standard storage instead of 64GB in the 1000/1100 pro models, no upcharge of $150
