With those prices, is no wonder. When i see this people paying three times their income agreeing for installments, just to have an apple device, one can only tell they need to go to the Doc and put their life in order. And then you see people who actually can afford this overpriced pieces of tech, but they will never do that, cause well, life is more important to live. And seeing all this, one can only say: bravo apple, you managed to make the poor poorer. Quite an.achivement.

Then you should buy iPhone, because i love my wallet too, that's why i can buy new phone easily every year if i want.
Re-sell value is two times bigger than android flagship phone, also if you want to just save your money you can use that iPhone 5 years and having newest OS inside.
As much i love my wallet i also love the fact that the devices i use everyday for many hours are as good as they can be, that's why i don't see any problem the invest big money for iPhone. But well your comment is about some low cost phones so clearly you settle for less, but it's ok. Phones just aren't the the place where i want to save money, i want best.

Imagine you want to buy the least expensive iphone (right now is the iphone 7 32GB variant). In the country where I live is about 10.000CZK (roughly 400 euro). And, contrary of what the Apple fanboys say, this phone is by no means a rocket phone. Any Android mid-ranger from 2019 can top this phone performance with ease. It should get IOS updates for 1 maximum 2 years from now, even though Apple fanboys will swear on their mothers that it would get updates further more the line.
Now, an Android entry level mid-ranger from 2019, no matter if it is Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei, Motorola, LG, Sony you can get easily with 5000-6000CZK (200-230 euros). The performance is the same as an iphone 7, even with an iphone 8 (talking from own experience). Android updates will be until 2021 for sure, the design is far better than iphone 7, 8 line-up. Should I continue?
Another fun fact. I know a lot of Android users who had iphones in the past. They say they will never buy an iphone too soon. The majority of iphone users I know, didn't have any Android phone in their life.
So, is safe to say, we the Android users, who had iphones in the past have every right to talk and express our opinion on the matter. On the other hand, all you Apple fanboys who don't know what an Android device is, just saw one or use one here and there, should better hold their opinions for other subjects.

Huawei is not real threat for Apple and never been, Huawei ban have very minimal effect for Apple. Now when android people in EU doesn't buy Huawei they are going back to Samsung, Samsung is the real winner in Huawei ban.

[deleted post]iPhones aren't overpriced, people have voted, year after a year. It's clearly those android flagship phones which are overpriced, price drops very soon after launch because few buy them in a first place. Clearly consumers just doesn't see the value unlike they see when they buy iPhone. Maybe it's the fact that android phones only get support for two years? when iPhones get average 5 years.

Definition of overpriced "Priced higher than what it is really worth.
The overpriced items would not sell."
So it doesn't fit to iPhone

Selling 10 products with $1000 profit is better than selling 1000 products with $8 margin.

No surprise here, Apple is much more concern with customer satisfaction while android vendors are much more interested in spec sheets.
