Oh, I forgot to mention, I also own (and use daily), an iPad Pro with the high refresh rate (120hz) screen and two smartphones (iPhone and Samsung) with only 60hz screens. I don't even miss it or even have a desire to have the same screen as what I have on my iPad Pro for either device.

These companies always have to have the 'next big thing' marketed. It's all a business model.
I don't care either way, I was let down by my 144 screen. I guess if push comes to shove, it does make a difference for gaming on a LARGER computer screen. BUT for a smartphone with a screen size less than 13"? That's just completely unnecessary and marketing hype at this point. If you are a human being with enough visual acuity to tell the difference, more power to you. But as for what the benefit is for an 8" or smaller screen? NOT worth it!

I'll get it, but only if battery capacity / life can be maintained along with it.
