AND NAND, 06 Feb 2020No words your are believable.. Go get some food at firstHe is actually referring to the Exynos version of the S10, not the awesome Snapdragon counterpart.

I had an Exynos S10e by the way. I exchanged it with an iPhone 11 and realme X2 Pro already months ago.

Here is the comparison based on Anandtech. Please take attention on the camera section.

          https://www.anandtech.com/show/14072/the-samsung-galaxy-s10plus-review

Image processing is not as good as the Snapdragon variant, according to the website. Shadows are weaker in the Exynos variant. Speaking of personal experience, images aren't as sharp as my iPhone 11, nor the low-light details impress me. I can say though, the colors are livelier instead of natural. Ultrawide cam is meh and low light is of poor quality.. Cannot test telephoto though, because S10e doesn't have one.

S20 may change this if the Snapdragon variant can exceed expectations. S20 Ultra camera performance is going to be awesome. Just hope that the Exynos variant will not sell in most markets this time. I also hope that 4G variants are not Exynos SoCs, but Snapdragons as well (so the lineup doesn't get mixed up). Again, the conclusion is, SoC (also software, actually) affects image processing quality. I did not expect the iPhone to have good shots. But I was rather surprised.

If camera performance (and SoC choice) can justify the S20 series insane price tag for an Android phone, then I can at least give a recommendation why you should buy one. I am also looking forward to the Huawei P40's cameras too.

This article fails to mention that Europe will be getting Galaxy S20 phones with low-performance Exynos CPUs that are 20% to 30% weaker than Snapdragon 865.

This includes much lower image / video capabilities than the rest of the world.

I simply can not understand why they (and others) do not make the huge bump the whole width of the device. or at the least has something of the same height in the other side.

A design like this is unusable on a table. It reminds me of my old Nokia N97Mini where I padded the other side with some self-adhesive rubber.

So it's true, but this would mean even worse interpolation in 108MP mode, also this would negatively affect the quality of a potential 27MP mode, which IMO is a better balance preserving resolution. I always thought they should do 4-1 CFA with 9-1 binning. With some more complex demosiacing it should result in better image quality all-round, and preserve a more decent 27MP mode.

Ultimately it is proven that again we are going back to your old physics that large sensor + large pixel size = good camera performance. Which Samsung want to with 9 into 1 pixel binning. So, old physics go ahead.
