They will have difficulties spying the world if Huawei technology is adopted, hence their action and smearing.

Anonymous, 12 Feb 2020Not true. Apple refused to cooperate with the FBI during th... moreso PRISM is a joke right? plus iphones could easily be cracked by a 3rd party by then, so the entire point of apple not collaborating was nothing other than an elaborate joke. If US wanted to strong-arm apple, it could do so in a flash by freezing it's assets (like police does to non cooperating entity in case of a small company) it was all a sham to make dumbhacks like you believe that privacy exists with our lord and savior fruit. My friend is a security researcher and by his own admission, to get access to a phone is a childs play. Plus every iphone since past 7 years has a biometric, you think agents could not strong arm a TERRORIST

I live in the EU and I don't trust the hypocrite US at all Ans especially not with this comic president, the most untrustable man in the world.
US have always been hypocrites, but now more then even.
And I'm really pissed because it affects the world, because of US interest and hunger for even more power.
But im sure in the long term China will beat US with the cheap man power the have.

They've been saying that for years and still haven't been able to prove Huawei have ever used back doors or, in fact, anything they're accusing them of. The Trump administration are ridiculous and trying to stall technical advances because they aren't made in US.

Think differently... What if US or China only need to use backdoors to access specific people in high ranks to get info that compromises in some way and then use it for blackmail in order to recruit a spy. Then the interesting info will flow without needing backdoors... Just think for a min.

Anonymous, 12 Feb 2020Don't try to draw false equivalency. Huawei is a dictatorsh... moreThat's not true, every country including the US can subpoena a company to avail it with information to assist with investigations if they feel there is a need to do so.
So don't claim things which are not true here.
Just because the government is 'bad' doesn't make the companies bad as well.
Are you saying if I hate the US or any government does it mean even the companies in those countries are bad?

O'Brien isn't a very credible person in this case. He has given no evidence to back himself up, and I'm not even some Huawei shill either, this is just flat out stupid.

AnonD-908380, 12 Feb 2020So you have no problem with China banning American companie... moreChina didn't ask everyone else to ban the companies they banned at home, that's the difference. I don't think people will have a problem if US bans companies it is not comfortable with but it only becomes when they try to coerce every one else. In fact, people didn't have any issues with the US when they banned Huawei in their own but it only became an issue when they started forcing everyone else to do the same.

Anonymous, 12 Feb 2020Prove it.'the United States kept the information highly classified and has only now provided details to the UK and Germany'
it looks like they are doing, to their trusted partners anyway in a private way to not reveal the extent of their information. Not to general public for internet comments and angry chinese keyboard warriors.
