Lumia 900 is selling like crazy with good pricing and highest rated phone in Amazon, AT&T and any where. Windows Phone 8 could take over Android very fast. Windows Phone is super efficient, stable and has so much potential.

Microsoft won't let Windows Phone fail. They threw enough money at the Xbox 360 to make that successful, they will do the same with WP.
Anyone who thinks they can't do this is crazy.

Still, before Nokia started making WP7 all the others were making their Windows phones look like office equipment, and advertising them improperly (if at all), and I'd say that Nokia was the first one to really "get" what WP7 should be about. Hence, the growing recognition and popularity.

Fanboys so ignorant, don't even realize that heavily subsidized pricing plays into part, even though its clearly evident that once the device went from free to $49.99 demand dropped heavily.

Also maybe you should read the actual reviews, most of the lower than 2 stars for the nexus were due to faulty devices.

Like i said, once the FREE PROMOTION ended, the popularity of the phone drops. Notice how the Galaxy Nexus, NOT FREE, and the Droid RAZR, again NOT FREE out sells the Lumia 900. You want to bet that if Google and Verizon had a promotion giving away a free Galaxy Nexus on Contract it'll beat out any other phone?

Where as nokia lumia 900 is rated by 240 ppl.. And it still average five star... Android shouldn't be compared with any other os of cellphones.. It can do far more thing functionality wise.. But nokia has better camera, built quality, and realiblity.. Most android phones are expensive when tney arrive in market..but in a year time their prices are less than half to buy from as used phones.. Reason is simple..android phones are updated insanely every year... And google approves any apps to it's market place before assuring that it's safe and virus or spam free..

Majority of android phone runs on gingerbread and froyo now. In fact less than 2% still run on something less than 2.2.
Android announces a new release once a year, why wouldn't you want the OS you're using to become more and more updated? OH right, because you Nokia fanboys are use to getting shafted, you enjoy buying your phone now and not being able to receive Apollo.
LOL you make it sound like Palm has been around the last 2 years, they've been gone longer than that. Also no other manufacturer cares about Windows Phone, Samsung plans only releasing 3 Windows Phone devices this year.
Fart Apps eh? Last time I checked Windows Phone Market place had 7 pages worth of fart apps. Heres another hint, those 70,000 apps you're talking about comprise of 99% ports from Android and iOS apps.
Android and iOS were new to the game, Microsoft has how many years of experience when it comes to smartphone OS? Nokia has how many years as well?

Nokia knows what is best for it. Nokia should have pushed harder on PALM. now that Palm is Gone Nokia will get exclusivity on WINDOWS PHONE soon. soon samsung and all others will loose their licences. Nokia Can only do it if they are the only WIndows Phone Manufacturers just LIKE IOS.
WHy ppl are so pathetic, number about number of apps. What is important matters is that what your phone can do out of the box.
last year windows had 20000 apps in less than one year they have 70000, wait and keep counting.
noone wants 10000 apps for farts or solitaires. ppl want quality not quantity and that is what windows phone is all about quality.
Remeber Android when it was Cupcake or Eclair rememeber ios 2 or 3. give windows phone some time, the game will change. No-One rules forever.... Change will come.... IOS and Android both will be crying out for help. their will be Gecko, meego whatver and wp8
