          I don't want to fuel this hate, but ...

          First of all, USA has been caught many times spying on it's own people and many American companies have had huge scandals with the same thing (mainly Google and Facebook)... I'm not defending China or Huawei, but from logic and there hasn't been proof regarding them spying via Huawei and I'm not saying that they're not doing it, just that there isn't proof of it unlike with USA. So from logical perspective it's fine when USA does something unethical and wrong, but not when someone else does it?

          All the arguments I've read here are either this or about the military... Guys, can't you see that the same situation is happening in America? I mean for crying out loud, the world doesn't belong to USA or China. Everyone is the bad guy and does things out of their own personal reasons, where the media in USA tells everyone that China and everyone else is the bad guy and vice versa...

          The only difference between China and USA is the culture, otherwise they're the same people each with their own agenda.

          So when you realize that if this continues this way, then we're all doomed.

                        I don't think this article paints the complete picture. I am sure that comments like these are used for insider trading and other malicious activities i.e. selling stocks beforehand.

                        I also strongly feel that the US is hurting its long term interests by following such a confrontational policy. Instead, what they can actually do is to beat Huawei on the innovation front using R&D.

Screen technologies are Korean. RAM, storage etc are Japanese. Cameras are japanese. Lenses are german.
                                      The chinese produce good cheap hardware but haven't invented anything for the mobile world and PC world, media, software etc. At least not yet.

No in China, because of the communistic system ALL companies have to obey and give the government any information they want. The risk is real. Nobody denies the origin of Huawei and the biography of its CEO.
