hmmm, hoped that we'd get 28 nano from samsung, but seems this it's too early for that, wonder if this one can beat the krait S4 found in one S and one XL,,,

AnonD-52029, 26 Apr 2012who the hell are you to say dat htc one x cant beat gs2. . ... moredo you know that one S beats the shit out of one X?? Which s2 also manages in a few benchmarks.... One S is currently the most powerful right now atleast cpu wise.... Tegra 3 is a horrible unfinished product which can't even beat dualcores....

there are a lot of smart asses here who comment on power efficiency and sorts, if you're that clever then come up with something, that is if your action are as big as your words

Being pin compatible means it wount take much of Samsung's time to introduce 2nd version of Galaxy Note. In my openion that would be a real beast.

Very happy for the fact they decided to go with 1.4 clockspeed rather then 1.8, to keep their promises of having at least 1 day full usage. (even at 1.4 its comparable to one x's 1.5 t3)

Now what they need is an option for expandable battery... then we can start overclocking ourselves to 1.8 but still retain battery life ;D

I will agree with you they are very smooth, but that is only because they offer a fraction of the functionality and features that Android does. If you were to make these other OS.'s as feature rich as Android then you would need more processing power.

Interesting, but Apple's A5X has quad core GPU for better graphics. Ironic that both processors are manufactured by Samsung.

Time will tell which is the better option (more CPU cores vs more GPU cores)...

Wow! Samsung just keeps banking on the ignorance of the populace to increase phone sales. Only few comments here show people with a knowledge of electronics, programming and hardware optimization through software efficiency.
In my opinion, Quad-cores are not needed for better performance right now as optimizing for dual-cores is still difficult, even for some "very good" developers I know. And if you must know, most of your complaints about excessive power consumption is due to the fact that power is drained by inactive and inefficient cores used by programs not effectively designed for them( trust me, it's quite difficult to realize this task).
So like someone here said, Android could actually release a power efficient ICS FP and solve all these problems{ WP7 and the N9 Meego OSes are practical proofs of how good single cores can actually be if they run a good OS. Ask any Meego user, there is no hanging nor lag during ops, even at benchmark levels}.
As for gaming, I can optimize any MOBILE GAME to run as seamless on a dual core as on a Quad- saving at least 10% power. 2dayz GPU's are actually very good already. Just saying, wake up ppl, your phones don't overheat cos it's running a power demanding game, it is cos power waste is excessive. But then how many of you will actually consider the naked truth?

I'm glad gsm arena didn't paraphrase and take blind guesses like engadget; They're adamant that this processor will power the galaxy s3 when it's announced on Thursday, even though no explicit reference to the device has been made.

So far I don't have much good feelings for Samsung smart phones (Galaxy S2) despite of its impressive benchmark results. However, with the introduction of Exynos 4 Quad processor to (expectedly) power Galaxy S3, is it worthy waiting for S3 or should I go for HTC One X?
