Band 71 can only be rolled out as TV stations relocate to make room for it. Being in the 600 MHz gives it the longest range but it's likely to need special hardware too.

T-Mobile has free global roaming in countries where it's possible. This means that T-Mobile branded phones should have Europe and Asia bands too.

Specs for the Xperia 1.2 say that it works for pretty much everything except Band 71. Rumored specs for the LG V60 say it has all the North America bands but it wouldn't be good for traveling.

BliTTzZ, 26 Feb 2020Every second comment here is with useless rant about price. Wak... moreSony is a B tier brand right now. They don’t have a good track record or brand recognition for their phones. The A tier brands you mentioned have been consistent for the past 4 years minimum. Sony should take the Oneplus route to grow this division rather than just let it slowly burn.

Every second comment here is with useless rant about price.
Wake up, people. Other A-brands like Samsung, Huawei, Apple sell their phones for similar price or more expensive.

Good specs and design of this beauty. For me, it's too big. I need smaller xperia version. :D

please bring back the compact. 5.5" 21:9. The xperia 5 is not a compact, it's height is the same with my XZ3.

Power Delivery 21W.
50% in 30 min.

And your battery will be about 97-98 after two years. Unlike other brands that after 1 year is down to 85% already.

About the primary camera. What makes you say that S20U has better primary camera than SONY XPERIA 1 II.

If Sony provides us with Xperia Pro... it'll be awn instant buy for me...

Otherwise I'll go for the S20+ 5g

yet here we are still with glorious Sony

Judging by the sheer amount of praise (200 comments yikes!) for simply bringing back the headphone jack, I'm betting Sony is gonna have a good year this time.
This phone is now on my wishlist if that says anything along with the ROG 2.

Phone Manufacturers are difficult to please people like you since you wanted a FlagShip branded Model on a Cheaper price. Why won't you make your own phone and run its own software. Always asking for more when you are not even the target market.

Finally...
A Sony I'm interested in again!!!
Used love some of their phones until the cameras fell behind

Nowadays, every Sony firsts are a standard to every phone company out there. Thank Sony for people clamoring for IP68 on phones for example.
