Their stores are doing amazing job. Even Samsung can't keep up and I'm not talking about Chinese brands. Of course if nothing gonna happen with your phone it is great but since nowadays flagship phones cost around 1000 service/customer service is huge deal.

MagicMonkeyBoy, 24 Feb 2020iPhone 4 design... Not impressed. Even with 120hz... Still ... moreYour regular insult with Apple phones. I owned both an Android (realme X2 Pro currently, used to be Samsung S10e (Exynos) and Note FE) and ios (iPhone 11 currently, and used to be 6s).

The RAM and customisations in iPhones are the only bottleneck. I have not noticed any performance drops in gaming or intensive applications. It's way faster than my S10e running on Exynos SoC. PUBG Mobile at HDR Extreme is no problem, tested it and didn't notice any frame drops. This is even better than my X2 Pro with also no frame drops but a slightly higher temperature. S10e won't run past smooth extreme and I noticed stutters here and there. iPhone also aces in COD Mobile at very high graphics. Shadowgun Legends at high 60fps is also fine. Other intensive apps run great as well. Again, it's just the RAM that makes background apps close but I have no issues with it.

Enjoy your shabby Red Magic 3s that has poor software and bad translations. Oh the fan also traps dust. Even my X2 Pro is better than that.

Scarface007, 25 Feb 2020A13 well exceeds the SD equivalent in Raw power is true. B... moreRunning both an iPhone 11 and realme X2 Pro.

The iPhone 11 is still faster/better than my X2 Pro in terms of gaming and multitasking, but RAM is a limitation, not OS.

I have no issues whatsoever in both phones so please justify why can ios be a bottleneck. Hardware is fine in the iPhone. I have not noticed any throttling even in HDR graphics Extreme framerate in PUBG Mobile in the iPhone. The battery also lasts pretty long, actually close to my X2 Pro.

So I have to say that the iPhone is just fine, maybe you are using an old-model iPhone such aa the iPhone 6/7.

Yet here i am still having a redmi note 3 with minor dents and the screen fully working without any real cracks after 3 years and 9 months of use. Made a right choice back then to buy that phone, too bad i see nothing in the market of that caliber now, nor a similar price (200eur + 50eur tax)

But, it's useless since the whole chip is bottlenecked by poor co-hardware & iOS itself which can't utilize the full potential of the chipset.

Fluidity of iOS argument was valid back in 2011 not in 2020.

This is exactly what Android gives them at 200-400 dollar price point. Now if you want more, you can spend more on top of the line flagships. IOS gives you everything 5 years late where even the latest iPhone becomes a laughing stock in front of budget Android flagships.

And No! Your old iPhone can't do half the things that a Note 5 can let alone Note 9.

MagicMonkeyBoy, 24 Feb 2020iPhone 4 design... Not impressed. Even with 120hz... Still ... moreI think a lot of what you said is subjective. I think everybody knows that the raw power of the A13 chip well excedes that of the Snapdragon equivalent, which, by the way, is the 855. Also saying that Android is superior.....yeah no that's absolutely subjective. Nothing will ever compare to the fluidity of iOS. P.S. Android user here.

Behind Android? In what? Marketing numbers?
For 90% of users those numbers don't mean anything, they just want stable, reliable phone with good updates.
And you really compare couple of iPhones per year with hundreds of Android devices? Apple is not competing with them but living their own life since there's no other phones with iOS.
It is always funny when people compare plane numbers. I have old iPhone which can do basicaly same what my Note9. If you need something really special or more serious then no phones can beat computers/laptops.

iPhone 4 design... Not impressed. Even with 120hz... Still the iPhone 12 even with A14 5nm will be behind Android...

Qualcomm already mass producing 5nm chipsets for example the x60 5g modem using 5nm transistors sizes.

I appreciate iPhones branding idea of using its classic throwback status of iPhone 5 and 4 designs and it seems they are retro fitting. IPhone 4 and 5 where cutting edge in its time. Still looks nice. But personally... Android is on top form these days... Even the UI's have excelled iOS...

Still its good to have an alternative other than Android. But Android is the most popular choice... And is the best operating system.

It seems like Apple is trying to sell its handsets based on its legacy of its past. A past when Apple reigned over Android. The first 64bit processor in a smartphone.

But these days. The tables have turned. Still not have to wait another 6 months for the iPhone 12 to have 120hz screen... Finally... Even then it will be way overpriced... And deceiving marketing propaganda to manipulate and convince Apple sheep to hand over 1700 usd for an iPhone 12... Only to realize that the iPhone 12 is still behind Android...

And even more so when the 875 snapdragon is revealed...

If the rumours bare any fruit, this will be the most dominate post-Steve Job's year for the iPhone series.

Multitask view (just like our iPad Pro) and much much more!
