It's not like a 1440p 13 inch display uses the same battery life as 1440p smartphone display.
Plus, if you were to run both of those displays, it would roughly equate to 60hz, 6.8 inches, 1080p display for a 3000 mah battery.
And, LG should have at least given the option for 90/120hz for one of the displays.

The Z5 Premium from Sony had a 4k LCD. That's only about 12% fewer pixels than this if it had 2 1440p OLEDs at the same aspect ratio as the current V60. The Z5 Premium has literally only a 3430 mAh battery, and it has an LCD, which is less power efficient. This has a 5000 mAh battery and OLEDs.
There's literally no reason to lower the resolution. Plus, if they were that concerned about battery life they could've made the second display 1080p and the main one 1440p, which would've also given them the ability to remove the second disgusting notch.

They have lost it in LG I think. Why on earth downgraded the screen resolution?! A thing I am proud of my LG V30 is the amazing screen with the 537 ppi. And now they downgrade this to 395 ppi! What they were thinking?! Also, they took the fingerprint from the back side, which for me is the most functional place for a fingerprint and moved it in front.
LG is not a brand with very big sales. So the first they have to do is to satisfy existing customers and give them what they want. We bought LG and not Samnsung or iPhone because in terms of functionality the LG (at least 3 yers ago) was superb to the others because of some futures. They get rid of most of them. As a results I believe they get rid of many old customers. At least this will be the case for me.

From my experience with G8x I can safely say that V60 is lucky to get 4hrs SOT with DS case and QHD screens.

i'm a big fan of sony and lg. They always mess up on the design. design is horrible. sony always make big bezel and long phones. Now Lg makes a tablet phone. Really man?

Pixel is the new HTC, 27 Feb 2020I own LG V50S and when dualscreen attached, the battery run... morethe G8x and V50 4000mAh had a good enough battery to run on dual screen , and both have 10h SOT and that is the work of LG battery management .
But this time I believe LG want to force the users to always use the dual screen since they lower to FHD (or want to cut the cost too)
cause if they want the user to choose then they should have upgrade the dual screen to QHD to preserve that symmetrical looks .and when you want only one screen you still have a good QHD.
and since 4000mAh was more than enough for 2 FHD screens , then 5000mAh is good enough for 2 QHD screens , even xperia 1 has a good battery life with 4K display .
all I want from LG is to give options here , but they didn't this time .

pricing in india is equivalent to $1100 usd. i dont think thats cheaper than s20, and its certainly not better.
