Many still don't understand that specs are not to most important thing for customers and the lower tier iPhones prove this year after year.

These top 10 are only generating 14.4% sales in total. The rest 85.6 are the real contributors for the sales. No surprise Apple dominated top 10 since they only have less than 10 phones in store. And they still manage to sell that outdated yet capable iPhone 7. Ugh.

Also even XR cost 3 times more than average android phone, so yes android users usually buys cheap androids, that's just a fact which can be seen from android average price compared to iPhone average price.

mind blowing how in just 1 quater the iPhone 11 was able to outsell almost every other device. the 50$ price cut apple made was the absolute right move. the iPhone 11 sold so much faster than the XR so it's clear which phone will top the 2020 chart.

They're different model, just like you can't combine vanilla iphone 11 sales to the pro/promax. If you can combine them the iPhone XR will not be on top lol.
It's says this is 2019 not last year is true but iphone xr still number one if you also compare it to iPhone XS which was released at the same year, it's true that people buy expensive 11 pro series, but cheapest iphone 11 is still the most phone that people will buy, just like what happened to XR and XS where XR reign supreme in the sales, which is once again proving that iphone user love the cheapest phone more lol
i'm actually don't care what happened to apple,samsung,huawei,oppo etc, but when someone said that android user love buy cheap android phone is making me LOL and can't accept the fact that iphone user also love cheapest apple iphone

Apple have iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max. of course those invidually can't beat the sales of regular iPhone 11, because same people are buying Pro and Pro Max, if you combine those sales those are quite close to iPhone 11. So lot of iPhone people are buying expensive models.
Why XR is at top? propably because it had sales for whole year unlike iPhone 11 family which was released september. It's actually quite crazy to see iPhone 11 so high in the list while we don't see S10 anywhere, which had 9 months of sales.

But i don't see top of the line phones from any Android brands on list and do you know what's so embarrassing? Not only iPhone XR is still more expensive than all the android phones on the list but also quite a lot of android users who are willing to buy a phone with $#!tty specs and features when there's a better options just because their love for a certain brand.

If android users really use their common sense when buying a phone they would prefer a Chinese phone or an Android One that has better support.

There are some things Android can't do.
Now that I'm not an ios fanboy (I used to assume iPhones were rubbish, ex. 6s with its bendgate issue) and I still use an Android phone (GS10) alongside my iPhone 11. I can't let go of Android (planning to buy Mi 10 Pro or realme X50 Pro). But I've learnt that Apple has stepped up the game with first, its iPhone XR. That made me buy an iPhone. The ecosystem is just exclusive, although you need to beware not to get trapped into it by replacing phones too often or buying their accessories-I rely on 3rd party ones).
ios is just quite different. Probably not so user-friendly at the end (ex. volume controls), but they're in their own league.
Look at Mi 8 and Mi A2 shamelessly copying the iPhone X. Glad they've changed this with the very nice Mi 9. Vivo copies Apple's OS, are they out of ideas?

Apple have their own OS, their own app store, their own platform. What exactly is unique about what Android oem's are offering. They all use the same OS, same platform, same parts. There is very little that is unique between them, so they can only compete on price. Essentially a carbon copy of the pc market.

A30s/A40s costs more than a Redmi Note 8 Pro in here. And yet the Redmi has way more powerful chipset (it can run PUBG at HD Ultra framerate, the A30s/A40s only top out at low graphics high framerate). Camera experience is just about similar, average of course, considering the price point. Tried all phones in a phone store and even the A30s/A40s struggles to load the main screen: it just lags. The Redmi is much smoother.
Only plus point of the A series, including A50s, A70, etc. are displays but they are handicapped by underpowered Exynos chipsets. A71 even uses Sd730 this time, which is way more powerful than the A70. Even an old, throttled (and actually, quite rubbish) iPhone 6s runs faster than the A30s/A40s.
Sammy fanboys never change.
