Anonymous, 28 Feb 2020Just shows you the boring taste most people have lolWell boring excellence, as what Anandtech has given the title to the iPhone 11 series. It's just good enough. The iPhone 11 is also thoughtfully priced, cheaper than the XR. And the XR costs the same as a S10e. S10e, however, is marred by weak Exynos chipset (unless it's using SD chipset). Using both iPhone 11 and S10 (Exynos) and I have to say the iPhone is better in every aspect but the very average screen, which lacks substance.
Huawei P30 2nd hand prices also dropped a lot, bad investment which should have been a great phone. I can pick up a brand-new Vivo V17 Pro for the price of a 2nd hand P30 Pro in great condition in my country. I will definitely get the V17 Pro because I can rely on this better. Support is also lacking, too.
Never tried OnePlus because it's not available in my country and importing it is very expensive. Also Google Pixel (4/4XL).
So it's just either Samsung or Apple. And Apple used to be way behind the game in comparison to Samsung (look at the very successful Samsung S8 vs. iPhone 8 and X), now Sammy fails (look at poor sales of S10 and Note 10). Heard many of my friends used a Sammy phone and now switched to iPhone.
Enjoy that slow Crappynos Samsung that heats up in demanding games even at medium settings.

Huawei and Samsung need to increase their support for their flagship phones. No way im buying a Iphone priced Android phone with 2 Android updates. Only Xiaomi thanks to the Custom Rom Community.

I'm going to assume they are breaking out the phones individually and comparing sales. The XR sold the most individually, but if you take all of Huawei's sales across the board they sold the most. If that is the case it's not all good for Huawei. Their flagship phones need to dominate. At this point it doesn't matter who makes the best device. It's comes down to brand appeal. Someone mentioned below apple is just a status symbol or something to that effect. Well that is exactly where Huawei and Samsung want to be. iphones are the only phones that are considered luxury devices. I'm not even sure Samsung is there yet.

Why should I pay $1,000 for a phone when I can get the same functionality in a $200 phone? I'm not a superficial brand person and I don't look down on people because they don't use fruit branded phones.

Since SD835 smartphones have been running very smoothly especially true for Android. SD820 is by far the worst silicon found in any smartphone. I have absolutely no problem picking up a Pixel 2 or Xperia XZ1 with SD835 and use it in 2020 for peanuts on the dollar.

I donÂ’t like restrictions of iPhone in the name of security. I like freedom so Android is best. With iPhone it is very difficult to download anything from internet. In that case android is better. So Android is Android.
