Except the curved display, everything seems great. Gimbal camera is pretty nice.

And that is my point, some kids got very offended and triggered like they are the only customer in the world by a phone witch they are not forced to buy it.
Let the oems experiment wirh many different form factors and done, more choices are always welcomed.

NX digital zoom will divide the resolution by N^2
2x zoom with a 48mp cam will output 12mp (4 times smaller) and 3x will bring it to 5.3 mp (9 times smaller). also, that 48mp cam is a quad Bayer type so it's not going to capture amazing detail at full res (based on other phones with this type of sensor).
anyway, Vivo is definitely better equipped in this regard.

Plus, I'd love to see a UD camera by samsung on anything. Just FYI oppo did it first, so vivo obviously was going to get it

Vivo only innovates in their high-end series such as the NEX 3.
Look at vivo shamelessly copying ios for their Funtouch OS.
If that's not enough then look at Vivo's lower and middle-range phones.
Vivo Y91c, Z1 Pro, (older V7/V11 Pro), etc. just copies Oppo and Samsung, then blends them together to create a rubbish product. Even most of those models have recycled chipsets or specs.
Oh, they also seem to cheat in benchmarks (Antutu) just to market in desperation, why can NEX 3 and iQoo Neo 855 score higher than the beast ROG Phone 2?
We'll see that overall vivo's so-called innovation gets busted by realme which can offer best specs at minimum price. Even vivo phones are not a very common sight in my country where many people are rather budget-conscious demanding for best specs, or businesspeople wanting best quality phones. Oppo will also come up with its Find X2 and X2 Pro, by the way.

With 19:9 you needed a backpack as front pocket is already too small but with this you'll need an entire garage.
Best usage I guess is to hang it on the wall and use it as wide screen cinema!

Vivo is several steps ahead in releasing an actual product. Samsung is playing catch up as they have been with high refresh rate screens, periscope zoom lens and 108MP camera in their latest phones.
