This phone has potential... I just hope companies can find a way to make screens a bit wider and a bit shorter so that phones can fit comfortably in hands and pockets.

Vivo is definitely the most innovative daughter company of BBK Electronics Corporation.
I hope they'll release a commercial phone that uses most of these concept tech. I also hope other companies will get inspired by it and release some truly innovative phones down the road.

Future Leader, 28 Feb 2020Unlike the Huawei 10X gimmickHuawei P30 Pro is not a gimmick. It uses 5x Optical zoom and 10x Hybrid Zoom... it is just that Vivo Apex has an extra 2.5 Optical Zoom (Variable 5-7.5x Zoom) and has a Higher MP (16MP>8MP from Huawei)

"A telephoto with an... moreSamsung is actually testing their own Under Display Tech, it is just that they are not "Noisy about it" and the UDC from Vivo Apex might actually from Samsung, who knows?. Besides 4MP is a little bit low.....
Samsung already have their own Gimbal like Stabilization and it is actually the best stabilization right now (Super Steady Mode and Super Steady OIS)
Yes, it is nice to have a 16MP Periscope with a Variable Optical Zoom of 5-7.5x... but Samsung Periscope with 5x Optical Zoom is still much better in terms of zoom range... why? becuase after 7.5x Optical zoom from Vivo Apex it will start to Digitally Zoom from the 16MP output...While Samsung Periscope has 48MP which 3x than the 16MP...
And what a 2000mah Battery????? Well it is a concept phone to life

East Or west, vivo is the best!!!! No doubt.... There are the best innovative company for couple of years... First in display fingerprint, first pop up camera technology... Now this all.... Should get some respect.....

So, they now start putting periscope camera. Why they didn’t put a microscope camera for new corona virus inspection. It will be helpful for Biology students.

Love Vivo! Something totally original. Good display. Beautiful camera.
Vivo always know how to come up with something unique and original. They do this almost every time.
Look at the other handset with 60w wireless charging.
For those who buy great conventional handsets. You have such an overwhelming great choice. Especially online.
Better to buy online than most carriers. At least get a better handset than most carriers can provide.

Finally, the true optical zoom is back on smartphone camera!
I guess this tells phone vendors that it's time for them to implement the similar feature instead of simply increasing the number of cameras before the back of the phone starts to look like spider's eyes in a literal sense.
