Apple has long been the greatest scammer in the business which is why I changed to Samsung but they have now become like Apple. I don't like their consumer hostile attitudes. I'm waiting for the new huawei phones as well.

Since the release of the S6 I have lost respect for them. The S5 was the last real innovative smartphone from Samsung and they sent updates to myself and as well as an official reviewer to cripple our S5. I have now switched to Huawei. I had the highest regard for Samsung and only wanted to deal with Samsung until they burnt me.

I agree with you on this "reap the results of their unwholesome business ethics".

Kendra Shields, 06 Mar 2020They didn't do shit. They rushed out the phone to beat P40 ... moreWhy don't you wait a few days and see what this software update does to S20 ultra. Don't be so confident.
I guess I told you this before, I'm saying again. Those initial reviews don't show what S20 ultra is capable of.
These phone have been released just today(6 March) .
So, samsung is not bound to make the software ready even before the phone has been released.

Samsung is reusing the same(note 10, S10) software in S20/S20+ with some improvements.
But they had to do it for Ultra almost from nothing. So, ultra might improve hugely after the update. Not the other two.

Samsung releases final software everytime just the day the phone got released or the day before.
These update are not based on what the reviewers said. I thing their Engineers have their own eyes and they can judge. I guess they have been working on these two updates for at least few weeks. Making this type of firmware is very tough.
While on second semester I had to developed a simple game which took me 7 days(3-4 hours a day).
I know they are professional but they had to write hundred thousands lines of code.
                So, that takes time.

That is incorrect, like many phones they are released with initial firmware, which is often updated soon after they've been handed out for review by magazines and review websites, as they've picked up issues with the phone, its operation/performance. This is the case with Samsung and the S20 series, no fuss, no real dramas.

Most important thing for them is to secure as many preorders as possible.

They rush out phones and fix them later. It's a shitty policy but more and more companies do this - just look at Apple an their shitty iOS 13 fixes. They had to fix their shitty os like 5 times in a row instead of making sure it just works out of the box. If they can't do that in 1 year then they should change their OS release to every 2nd year.. But yeah it's all about revenue for these scammers..

In agile, most software ends with "release now fix later" policy. That is also why a lot of games today releases with bugs on day 1. The iPhone "deep fusion" is also a victim of this.
