the first second iwe seen the photos i was a little bit disapointed, but now when i look at it, its increadibly good looking device and im gonna buy it, no matter the cost, iwe got a feeling its got that old-plain-simple style design, which i like very much, thank u samsung :)

One thing i have noted is they totally copied on HTC One X . The instant capture/ zero shutter speed and snap picture during a video - HTC came out with these first and they just copied it this is really sad. Samsung cannot come up with new ideas - opinion = Epic Fail

If this is ugly for you, you can buy other phone. The R2 will be announced as well this year. Samsung has a good marketing strategy. They were able to outsell Nokia. Nokia is a was company, and Samsung is a great company. :)

If this is a FLAG SHIP them this SHIP sinks.Instead of creating just the hype over the S3 samsung should have taken efforts on its specs and its design ( After S3 release its not worth expecting anything from Samsung in terms of DESIGN ) Its nothing extra ordinary just a normal Quad Core.This is what should be called GS2+ samsung really loves plastic jus like any mid range phone they have studed a plastic back (and they call it a FLAGSHIP.expected samsung to take some design standards set up by Motorola RAZR and use something like kevlar or ceramics what ever the hell may be) no improvement over camera nothing S3 not "IMPRESSIVE"

The back still looks ugly and there's no real improvement on the camera and design... The plastic looks cheap and girlish.

I dont think samsung have put much effort on this device.i think it is launched just to compete in the new growing quad core and hd display market.it is just like any other quad core smartphone

AnonD-53276, 04 May 2012One x is rocks!!!I agree that the S3 has less features than expected, like Camera (both Megapixel and Sensor). But still it is better than the HTC one X in every way other than build quality.
It is better than Nokia phones because of the screen resolution and also because it uses Android.
There are many smart features in this phone which no other phone has.
It has LED notification which will be very helpful.
Of course, it is better than 4S. It is obvious.
I will buy this one for sure.
I was hoping they would release a 10 inch amoled tablet as well.
