For newer Xperia, it uses software to achieve as it has 90Hz screen. If they use the same MotionFlow tech as their TV does, it will be good.

Look at GSMARENA endurance ratings for 120hz phones.
Plus these phones are shipping with tech to charge your phone at 45W, 65W.
While Sony, not only giving smaller battery but weak fast charging technology.
You obviously never used a 120hz phone.

Glad to know that the return of the headphone jack and the power button as a fingerprint scanner are now "key features" !!
As a very happy XZ1C user, i am waiting for another key feature before giving my money back to Sony: a compact format and the return of the 16:9 screen ratio. You see, something usable, with only one hand. A Pro feature! The Mark III maybe ?

Coming to 120 Hz, unless you play 24/7 with notification bar and scrolling twitter, you would not even be able to notice difference between 60Hz and 120Hz. Another Gimmick for uneducated people like you.
108MP with pixel binning and 100x zoom with shitty image quality, I don't even want to argue with these. Pure crap.
You obviously never used any Sony mobile do you?? Buy those Chinese mobiles with 64MP and 108MP. You deserve that crap.

No professional photographer likes fake colours of Samsung/Apple. Sony produces most accurate images without crap oversaturation softwares. Samsung pics are good for instagram but not for people who wants to keep images as memories.
Customer satisfaction: Leaving the past 3-4 years (they f** up following other companies like curvy edges, curvy display..). If I count people using Z1-Z5 (5-8 years ago) series from Sony this day right now, that number will be more than S8 (3 yrs ago) users. That will answer your question.

If phones with QHD 90Hz + over 4000mAh have issues with battery, do you want them to unlock the 120 on 4K screen?
Do not forget it has almost 3x more pixels to push than Rog II ....
Gimmick = considered useless until Samsung, Apple or chinese adopts.
Before Samsung decided to use, things like IP rating, OIS, Qi charging, QHD, stereo speakers were all called gimmick.

Sony misses out on 120hz display which truly transforms your user experience.
Galaxy S20 series, Oppo Find X2 Pro, Huawei p40 pro way ahead of Sony this year with higher refresh rate display.

1. Camera quality.
2. Customer satisfaction.
The 4k HDR screen seems great, and has been around for a while on Sony flagships. It would nice to see screenshots of pics with QHD and 4k and see the difference in detail. Plus, brightness and colours accuracy and randking on Display Mate should help get a perspective, as would battery life.

I have a feeling that the Xperia Pro is meant for photographers who have some Sony Alpha camera. It's more of a companion smartphone.
I guess we'll wait for either the Xperia 1 Mark III or to be bundled with the PS5.
