Lenovo Legion gamepad looks like the worst smartphone gamepad ever, smartphone gamepads need to be the more as portable as possible to be able to carry it in pocket and play on the go like Asus Rog Kunai Gamepad, Black Shark Gamepad 2.0 or Red Magic Gamepad Pro Handle, this one looks way too bulky

But I think that cooling system in Lenovo Legion is onto something here...

I think they are using semiconductor refrigeration. (I think).

And that... Is ground breaking for a phone or even a desktop.

They sure do have a lot of nerve challenging ZTE. The Red Magic 5G is basically a perfect phone. I can almost guarantee they won't release anything better.

Flgshp2020, 17 Mar 2020And you have to make a bunch of compromises to game properl... moreAnd to top it all... iOS is probably the worst OS for gaming.

My friends phone when we where gaming was hijacked and interrupted so many times during our gaming session of pubg.

He was so annoyed. He asked me to have a look at his iOS. I did look. I was surprised.

iOS is really pathetic these days. By far behind Chinese UI's.

Its like it's built for a cyclops. Someone who can do only one thing at a time.

                      Its not at all multitasking.

                      No dedicated game space.

The games don't run so well on iPhones. There is no game space. The cpu starts to warm up.

And if it ran at 90hz the screen only runs at 60hz. And the battery performance would be dire.

And if it did run at 90hz the SoC would get very very hot. I think Apple are aware of this. As they have no active or passive cooling systems.

And yes. There is lag. Usually with the internet and some coding it seems. So strange.

Don't know what is going on with iPhone these days.

For gaming. Stay away from iPhone. You will be disappointed.

I don't see the point in buying an iPhone for gaming. Just doesn't make sense.

MagicMonkeyBoy, 16 Mar 2020This is looking awesome!!! Good specs already! Lenovo Le... moreAnd you have to make a bunch of compromises to game properly on the iPhone 11 pro.

-turn off Bluetooth, so you can't game with wireless headphones, since iPhone lacks additional WiFi antennas thereby compromising network performance and increasing audio lag in Gameplay with wireless headphones.

-close background running apps to reduce reloading of games and other things slowing performance coz 1000 dollar phone is supplied with limited RAM.

-turn off a bunch of settings to get full 60fps.

-not being able to go beyond 60fps even though chipset supports it.

-Weak 120hz touch sampling rate compared to gaming phones.
Also touch latency is too high.

-battery drops quickly with heavy gaming and takes too long to charge as Apple gives weak 18W fast charging.

And on top of that it starts to throttle and drop frames after continuous gaming coz of lack of adequate cooling.

I only have bad experiences with Lenovo, had to use their tablets and phones at one work, never again...

It'll fail in the US just as the ROG Phone II did, simply because again I expect the bands for the carriers to be missing.
