[deleted post]Yep. I'm looking for the best value, well supported gaming phone so I read articles like these. My day is not complete without seeing him go on a long winded praise with some shots at apple. It's no surprise that he gives bad advice. He overhypes and overlooks some critical aspects of the gaming phone and thinks its okay that they only get minimal support because phones over 1 year old are "antiques" anyway so you should buy a new one. Sorry for being a poor guy wants his money's worth ;)

[deleted post]What about flight Sims and racing games...? There are loads of games.
You made a pretty good clear comment there actually. I am glad that you are clearly able to see and discern the difference.
Have you used a gaming phone before? If you haven't. And your getting bored of Pubg or CoD... The time to get a gaming phone...
Rocket up those scores. And enjoy the overwhelming superiorty that you have. I strongly recommend that.
When I changed from a conventional handset to a gaming phone... I cannot get bored. Every time I use my gaming phone. It just never ceases to amaze me.
After about 1 month... And still I cannot get over it... The tech is on another level... Gaming has never been so fun.
I like your comment. One of the few that realize the difference. Fairly honest about it. And your comment has helped others with a kind of testimony about the positive differences in gaming phones.
Appreciated. Have a good day. Hope you enjoy a gaming phone one day. Stay optimistic.

Good luck with that. I have dignity and I don't want to be exploited by gaming developers. Really, gaming phones exist so devs can bill your credit card in their games.

gilda, 16 Mar 2020Mobile games are just sad and pathetic anyway. A real gamer... moreAgreed. Portable and compact gaming phones may be, look at how devs implement their in-app purchases and slap ads in their products. EA and Gameloft games already look like an ads promotion site, nothing much.

To be called a "gaming' phone it must meets the minimum requirements:
1- A minimum FHD screen with minimum 90Hz rr.
2- A snapdragon 865 CPU. ( a qualcomm CPU is a must. NO MTK NO KIRIN NO EXYNOS )
2- 8GB LPDDR5 RAM + 128GB UFS 3.0 Storage ( minimum )
4- It must NOT have SD card slot as SD cards slow down the performance. They do at best 270MB/s read speed meanwhile UFS3.0 speed is above 1GB/s
5- 3.5mm jack is a must or another type-C port besides the type-C charging port.
6-It must have R1 + L1 or a gamepad as an accessory.
7-It must support TV-out ( Like Nintendo Switch, ROG phone 2, Black Shark 2 & 3...etc )

This is looking awesome!!! Good specs already!
Lenovo Legion are directly challenging red magic... Must be good then...
That cooling system looks very impressive according to the thermal imaging.
Go Legion!
We have another brand new Gaming Handset with accessories too.
Conventional handsets are no match for gaming handsets.
Gaming superiority.
In fact gaming on a gaming smartphone is so comfortable that we can become a little bit lazy... Whilst my friends with there iPhone 11s are struggling like hell. And suffering a bit of lag once in a while. And crap screens for gaming. So blurred when animating or scrolling. And the reaction time is not really impressive either. And they complain about the way they hold the phone whilst gaming. So uncomfortable. Funny how the traditional flagship player has to work 10x harder to achieve what a gaming phone can...
