Anonymous, 26 Mar 2020I bet after 1 year all units will have more than 3900 mAh, ... moreNope. None of them show detoriation the Way you think.
4500mAh battery becoming 3900mah in a year. ROFL.
Plz keep these fantasy projections to yourself.

OnePlus and Huawei have had twice the fast charging as Sony for nearly 2 years now. None of them have shown battery degradation.

How about you learn more about VOOC 4.0 and other charging technology before spitting out lies. Once Sony and Apple give you 50W fast charging, you'll change your opinion on the subject.
Those same Chinese manufacturers are pioneers in fast charging department. Sony playing catchup. Oops they haven't even caught up yet. Still providing 2017 fast charging technology.

It's performance in storage read and write speed aren't much different from the LG V60, in fact the V60 edges it out in some areas.

I think we can confirm the V60 has UFS 3.0 and not 2.1 like GSMArena reported.

Anonymous, 26 Mar 2020Sony really is terrible are coming up with names for their ... moreWhich one would you like?

          A) Xperia 2 Pro Max Plus
          B) Xperia 2T Pro 5G
          C) Xperia 2 Toyota Edition
          D) Xperia 2 RS Honda Design
          E) Xperia 2 Explorer 5G Edition
          F) Xperia 2 Tokyo 2020 Games Edition
          G) Xperia 2 ThinQ

Please, help me here with dumb names used by other brands we can suggest to Sony.

Well, with this being confirmed, some debaters and probably haters, especially the one who insisted Xperia 1 II used UFS 2.1 instead of 3.0 all the time before this, will be silence as the photos of it proven them wrong LOL.

And as for the camera sensors, it was expected they will use 2 in-house sensors & 2 from Samsung, one being exclusive to Sony from the past to their flagship lineup (IMX300, IMX400, IMX445, and this one, IMX557), as Xperia 1, 5, 8, and 10+ are the beginning and evidence of trade between Samsung & Sony in smartphone world, especially camera sensors. So, I wasn't surprised about this.

Anonymous, 26 Mar 2020While it takes 2hrs to completely charge the phone. Sony us... moreI bet after 1 year all units will have more than 3900 mAh, while other with 4500 + 50W shall be below 3800 already.

When you turn off adaptive changing , it goes faster.
Even my ipad with 12W can fill 4400mAh in 2h (it needs 4h to fill almost 9000mAh).

By the way, S20 Ultra has same charging time for 25 and 45W. It is proven.
Chinese brands are using two smaller batteries instead of one. That is why is faster.

You can make sure a 50W wont explode the phone. But you cannot prevent it from the faster degradation. Not with lithium ....

LOL, love to see that few brands have as main selling point charging speed and antutu score (which all chinese brands got caught cheating )

5 II must be again just a smaller FHD version of this one.
Unlike other brands that put different camera, charging, storage, memory speed etc ...

                    Today, a benchmark showed up from a Xperia midrange with 765G + 5G + 8GB.
I do not know if it is 10 Plus II ....

Ufs 3.1 is faster than the above two.

                        So its like oil bussiness.

If your quality are better, make money & sell to others. But use cheaper for yourself & save the money.

To be honest, Sony can use all Exmor if they want for that price. Its just funny, a Sony phone itself not using Sony sensors, just like previous Xperia 1.

Anonymous, 25 Mar 2020Sony finally gets night mode. Lol Night mode the incredible new implementation into photography world, it makes your night shots looks like daytime, i think the next level will be Day mode which turns your day shots into night. Sarcasm.

Anonymous, 25 Mar 2020Sony finally gets night mode. Lol Actually, They probaby won't have the Samsung or Huawei night shot, being a photography company, they'll keep it realistic as possible.

I believe in the original article it just said improved low light mode which doesnt equate to nightsight.

Anonymous, 26 Mar 2020No. Just price. Quality is way lower. Imx555 beats HM1No, it doesn't beat the HM1. It's definitely close to it though.
Low light images have way more noise compared to HM1. Same thing with video.
The HM1 only looses out to auto focus issues.

Anonymous, 26 Mar 2020We will still make fun of that weak Fast charging. That does 50% in 30 min.
Putting 45W charging would make the combo Qnovo/Battery Care/Adaptive Charging useless.

Finally it is confirmed, where are the UFS debaters?

But I understand that if they sell 500.000 units, it will make some difference for them.

Give it LTE and NR band 71 and I'll buy it. As it is now, there are no usable 5G bands for North America.
