LG Superfan, 01 Apr 2020Can it some kind of April fools joke? At the event Oneplus ... morePretty sure OnePlus 8 Pro will be priced at $899 for both American and EU markets.

Can it some kind of April fools joke? At the event Oneplus says the Pro cost $999.99 (which is technically under $1000) and the cheapest 5G phone was just an April fools joke

That exec may not have remembered that the LG V60 exists here in the US. That suggests that the Pro is at least $879 which is...ok...except missing a headphone jack and expandable memory (still) might have audiophiles with loads of FLAC files turn away.

Shanti Dope, 01 Apr 2020And now Apple would announce the iPhone 9 with nearly ident... moreNo way it will be $400. Not even i8 is jus this.
Also , tons of people will buy 9 instead of other models since many just want an iphone no matter if is simpler model.

It will be better than 8, so do not expect it to cost less than $600.

          Recommended retail price
          £999.99
          or
          £999

Don't fool us Oneplus, not all of us was born yesterday

$999 is less than $1000. This guy is just doing promotion for their future phones

And now Apple would announce the iPhone 9 with nearly identical hardware to the iPhone 11 for $400, which is usually the starting price of a OnePlus phone back then.

Oh how the tables have turned...

All he meant....$999 is under $1k.. can't beat his math

They'll be ok as long as they don't go crazy with their pricing. IP68 & Wireless charging is sure to add to the pricing, but shouldn't be a drastic hike nonetheless.

Hopefully their cameras will be much more competitive this year as well.

From quality plus competitive rates, "one plus" has migrated to the bandwagon of premium priced brand!

I doubt OP8 Pro will be cheaper than Mi 10 Pro that is 1000 euros.

I expect the Pro model to be priced between 800 and 900$, and that's fair enough if they manage to boost the camera performance, especially in video recording. The problem is the none pro model, which will have a strong competition from flagship killers from Xiaomi and Realme.

You get what you pay for , tried Xiaomi cheap junk and they all did not make it past 6 months of heavy use. Last OP took me past 3 years with zero issues and now on an OP 7T.

                                He's such a d*ouchebag, the phone will cost $999.98..

Still it's very expensive for a midrange phone with a sh*tty camera as O+8 Pro.. It should cost 500 dollars and maybe 599 for the Pro version.

Might as well buy an Apple or Samsung device instead if the price is gonna be $999.98.

Just make also a smaller version for one handed use and fix your cam to the S20 level.
