Also yes OP8 pro is of course upgrade from OP7 Pro in few sections especially camera but still it doesn't worth $ 1000 tag. As I said if I'm willing to spend over 1000, I would rather spend extra 200 and go for X1 II (price is not yet finalized bur rumored 1200) which gives me lot more features than OP 8 Pro (to me 120Hz refresh rate and fast wireless charging are less of my concern)

Many of us still have a soft spot in our heart for Sony. Our almost 12 years old LCD TV is a Bravia. But hey you have to give credit to OnePlus for what they have improved. If you want to put the 70$ wireless charger price in the phone price then you should do the same for other brands too. Be fair.

                  The only 4K HDR Display mobile is Sony. The only mobile which covers most of BT.2020 is sony. The only mobile which produces accurate Colours while watching movies is Sony. Once you use this 4K Display with high ppi, you will never go back to other Display. Like ever. Just YouTube the Video Display comaprison between X1 and OP7 :)

                  PS: Sony also won IF design Awards and Red dot Awards in flagship Segments. Not only just this year. Tech People are not stupid like General public who believes in numbers and hype :)

You don't find much People talk About sony because most People buy Samsung and other chinese mobiles. Also the only mobile to have 4K HDR OLED is Sony. Also the only mobile which covers most part of BT.2020 Colours is Sony, The most accurate Colours are produced by Sony (espceically while watching the movies) :). No Reviewer has ever said Sony has bad Display btw. including the haters :). Just use Sony's 4K HDR dsiplay, you will never go back to other Displays. Like ever. Even if u Keep the mobile to your face, u barely see any Pixels while on all other flagships, you can tell the Colours of Pixels :)

                    All Samsung do is produce unreal Colours and oversaturated Colours. Both in camera as well as on Display. So no wonder they never won any awards. Tech People are not stupid like General public who beleives in numbers and eye pleasing Colours.

                    PS: Sony also wins IF design Awards and Red dot Awards in flagship Segment. :)

Yes you are right it's only assumption that Samsung is a supplier of Xperia 1 screen. Fact that LG is pulling out of mobile OLED displays manufacturing also adds to that assumption as well. Who knows really and not that it matters.

Samsung displays have been univers... moreSamsung achieves all those things in perfect testing environment and all you have to do is go to your carrier store and take a look at the Note10/S20 on a stand and you will see it's all goldish until you pick it up and put it straight at 90 degrees from your face. If you shift the angle just a tad bit it shifts to yellow once again.

                        Apple 11 Pro doesn't do that, Huawei P30 Pro doesn't do that, Sony X1 doesn't do that. Not sure about OP 7 Pro cause I never cared about it to play with it but I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't shift frequency either. Samsung has the worst real time usage quality screen out of all major flagships out there.

                        And one more time to all pentile OLED lovers: FHD, QHD or 4K resolutions on pentile OLED are not real FHD, QHD, 4K resolutions because they lack subpixels and have huge gap between pixels compared to WRGB OLED or LCD. So there is that!

I already explained this 1000 times. 3840x2160p/4096x2160p is just one type of 4K. It is not a Standard. 3840p or 4096p in horizontal is how 4K is defined. Also on 21:9 Display, you can't have 2160p on vertical with 4K progressive pixels on horizontal. It will be over 5K. Then according to your 2160p logic, the Display will be called 5K and not 4K.

                              Also Movies are made in 4096x1700p (this is where Sony tried in their mobiles) for curved and 4096x2160p for flat. Also there are some media streams where 3840x1600p is also called type of 4K. Please read wikepedia before commenting with no Knowledge. It has many references.

Poor than other flagships (18-25W). So the Price will be $ 1070 or 1070 Euros. Camera is definetely better than OP7 pro but still not comparble with other flagships. Front cam is straigh up bs. So in the end poor camera yet again, Sony also has IP65/68 not just IP68. And if someone tell you that IP68 (submerge under water upto 1.5m) includes IP65 (water jets). Don't believe them :).

                                  In the end again, if someone is willing to pay over 1000 Dollars. Sony is Always the best. Hey you are also getting 4K HDR Display, headphones jack, 90Hz equivalant refresh rates, 360 Degree Audio, cinemawide 21:9, front dual Speakers, sexy design with no punchole and so on. Which u don't find in OP :). Also MEMC is big bs. Even Hollywood filmamakers/actors are against it :)

                                    Not that I'm an OP fan, The 1000$ OP 8 Pro has Official IP certification and 30W wireless charging.

                                        Very hyped this phone. I will do that or p40pro+ it will be hard decision. They are so different yet similar priced and top 2020 dogs. Mi10Pro is also nice with 100+ mpx 7P lens, but just hardly do a Xiaomi for me.
