SamSuck, 16 Apr 2020Which would you rather have at $400, last years Samsung Gal... moreFirst of all, anybody buying this phone isn't gonna care about the "screen resolution", "inferior LCD", "non expandable storage", "no fast charger in the box", etc. The only people that care about these specs are people like you and me, which probably will spend money on high-end spec'd out flagships. And if you are like you and me and want to save, go ahead and buy a s10e. What the people buying this phone(regular, general people who need an upgrade but don't want to pay that much) care about software support, a speedy processor, and an affordable price.

Android is not a very reach world, with a lot of security risks to worry about, very geeky and specific audience-based gaming phones(not bound to sell well), generally less capable image processing(unless you are talking about pixel), "latest innovations" rushed so fast that flops are bound to happen, expandable memories, double ports, wireless charging, "under display sensors" with poor camera quality and soon "bad" features(removal of the headphone jack, notch, etc.) that android will just copy 1 year later, etc.

Pretty good US pricing but in Asia this will be bloated AF. This phone is expected to be around 520USD for the base model here in PH.

Not everyone has to love small screens tho. Also candy crush-subway surfers angry birds etc is not the same with PUBG or COD or Minecraft or whatever. Still playable, but big is better for that. Media consumption too.
LCD is not that superior. Even on iphones its just on par with, say, A50 (depending on what you want from it. I prefer vivid colors)

S10e with slightly bigger form factor and way bigger higher resolution screen, multiple cameras, IP68 available for 47k.
S10 lite(SD855) with even bigger screen Available for 40k(128gb model) & 44k(512gb model).
All of them come with microSd expansion.
I see hard-core apple fans buying it and ppl who want to show off as the cheapest iPhone available in my country is the iPhone 11 @66k.

4.7 inches too small screen. Outdated LCD display with minimum resolution. Very large bezels. This is the master of big bezels, the king of big bezels phone. And small battery capacity. Others are try very hard to make all screen display, higher refresh rate and all sensors under display including under display front camera, meanwhile Apple have some memories back to 10 years ago.

This phone have good processor which you will never use in all potential that's it everything else nothing special you could not find in new low class android for 200 or less. And apple sucks worst customer service, unrealistic repair prices. And we all know statistic more half of phones in repair is apple of low quality build.

Whatever's wrong with LCD? By that logic you should also criticise all PC monitors and TVs for using the same LCD technology for what 20 years.

Do you realize the exact same LCD was used on the iPhone 6, from 6 years ago? The body is identical to the iPhone 8 from 3 years ago but the overall design is 8 years old (iPhone 3 - huge bezels, camera placement, home button, etc). Even the battery size from the iPhone 8 to the 2020 SE is exactly the same (once again using 3 year old technology.)
This phone is NOT from 2020, it's from 2012 - 2017. BTW Samsung still makes the s10 lines so your principle argument is invalid:
