Transferng file only limited via MTP, which is pain in the neck especially if your phone still uses eMMC, unless if the vendor provides another way to transfer by releasing a propietary companion software for it. This also worsen by the fact that some Android devices are still using USB 2.0 even though it's Type-C.

I feel they should've taken away the wireless coil for a beefier battery. I wouldve prefered that. But it is what it is. I am glad this phone exists

Story time: I had many many Android phones and tablets in the last 10 years (25-30 different models). Only one iphone (iphone 8 plus) and only one ipad (ipad classic 10" 2018 model with A10 fusion).
Leaving aside the times that I've changed my phone after 4-5 months, just because I was bored with it, the majority of times I have changed my Android phone (maximum 6 months after purchased), was because:
-bad software updates that broke the phone or made some apps unusable (like in the case of some Asus or Huawei phones).
-bad software updates that literally made my battery went "wild" (like in the case of my Samsung S9+).
-lagging or slow down in time, without any reason (like in the case of some Sony or Samsung phones).
-display problems after just 2 months (like in the case of some HTC phone).
One thing I must admit, I never own an One Plus or Google Pixel phone.
The only thing that led me to change my iphone was:
-the bad interaction I had with my Windows 10 laptop. And how much time I needed to spend only to copy some damn music or photos between the devices. Otherwise, I would never had sold my iphone 8 plus. Was a perfect phone with no issues in performance, hardware or software.
Because of this reason, I am stuck with Android phones, which I change every maximum 6-12 months, because they are very bad in time, at software or performance. No matter the price. I am pretty sure if I buy now a S20 ultra, in 12 months it will be worse than an iphone 11 pro max. Not to mention 50% cheaper.

This new model is made specifically for the average person that just wants a no-nonsense device that's fast and fluid, frequently updated, and takes consistently good pictures and videos. If you expect anything more than that then this isn't for you, chief.

Of course, if you compare every iphone with Android phones in the same price category, you will be upset. But, after all this years, it would be already obvious this situation, and people will just need to compare iphones with other iphones.
Thus being said, the price of this iphone SE is actually not that bad, is even cheaper than an iphone 8 (at least in Europe). But has everything better, except design, which is the same.
So, people who own or like an iphone, similar in design with the 8, will definitely be into this iphone SE.

man i would rather happily pay n additional $25 to get nova7 which
has a 5x optical zoom rather than getting the lowest version of this
or prefer adding just 50euro and opt for honor30pro+ which has 5x
optical zoom with has ip54 rating n 40 watt super fast charge than
getting the highest version of this pityful old n dated design model

This phone is a great example. And not cheap, is expensive outside US and almost a scam when you analyze the hardware they used despite the SoC for use it as he marketing tool to fool people.
Small battery if not ridiculous, small and low resolution display, small RAM, old mediocre cameras, slow charger in the box, old cheap design and they ask 549 euros for 64GB storage without expandable storage and 699 euros for the 256GB. What a joke, is almost a scam. The single good thing is the SoC and as that one have some more camera mode that was their whose marketing based. But even the camera sensor is the old one that will take the same bad photos at night and average with good light.
But its Apple, their customer every year are buying changing to buy the cheapest one they can buy. So this is the answer from Apple. Sell even cheaper junk but with the same margin profit. So they win the same money and customers get even worse phones. Apple trademark!!!

Only endurance above 71h will actually be a result that make this phone worth buying. 66h is bad, remember all the critics for pixel4. There are android phones that exceeds 100h but I think >76h is okish in 2020.

3GB RAM will be usable on iOS. Battery size is downright pathetic though. Even with good optimization, i doubt it'll make it through the day with moderate usage... At least it has 18w charging capability... for which you need to buy a charger separately...
Still, even with all the compromises, I'm glad this phone exists, as it will make other brands launch competitive models in the same price range. Competition is always good for consumers.
