I mena you dont get the threes cameras but you will get the main camera from iphone 11. And the a13 bionic chip and iphones long updates and branding is already enough to cover up the pricing.

8 GB and beefy batteries on Android phones are becoming increasingly common, to compensate for Google's business model that relies on the user being the product.

I was expected it. Apple in its essence again, crap hardware at the highest price with the bite of the good SoC but a ridiculous display and SoT plus old cameras. Apple blind fans buy it because are tied, trapped and brainwashed by Apple, they only care about the logo and as their latest results, the majority of their customers buy the cheaper available so...
Solution for Apple: overprice highly if not the most, cheapest piece of junk they found to put inside the old iPhone 8 chassis. At expected, old overpriced hardware with a big engine/SoC to advertise and the rest to hide brainwashing their customers with marketing.

Combine that with faster RAM and improved iOS 13 and you'll have much more efficient phone. I think it will easy go true the day without problems.

I first thought that 3GB RAM sounds like a joke, but I forgot that this is an iOS phone. So even with such dismal RAM, it would run equally fast or faster than an Android phone with big RAM.

Price is too high in India. Expected 30k but they placed at 42.5k, Oneplus is going to be priced similar
Happened similar with Pixel3a, priced too high in India ==> result never seen in any one's hand
But ofcourse, Apple can sell many but how many would prefer this at this price? XR was close to that price at 50k better and bigger mobile.
Biggest disappointment was battery, they can't even thoght that iPhone8 has bad battery life. We couldn't have cared if the phone thickness increased for sake of battery.

Man, that battery size isn't just gonna cut it. No amount of hardware / software will compensate for its poor battery life compared to devices in 2020. Just check the battery drain tests of iPhone 8. Even the XR fares well.

To be honest though, since now almost every flagship phone are on the >$1000 price territory, with A13 this phone becoming a bargain if you wanted a flagship performance (and since it's Apple you may wanted a long lasting updates support) at midrange price. Sure, it may lacks on battery, display, and camera compartment, however at least there's no Snapdragon 865 phone at this price right now.
