Maybe they should first make 108mp cameras good before they jump to 600mp. Numbers mean nothing if the lens make image blurry and when zoomed in photo looks like it was just upscaled to be a "108mp" photo (but only on paper). When zooming into a 25mp selfie photo it looks it was captured on a 5mp camera. Sharpness sucks and they know it so that is why they compensate by shoving more pixels. The moment they make good lenses that can utilize close to all pixels that is the moment they can up the resolution. Mi Note 10 had horrible sharpness and had a 108 mp sensor. When zoomed in it looks like a block of 10 pixels have the same color. It's like pixel binning and then just multiplies those pixels so it can sound like it has those 108mps.

600MP? It might make sense on a sensor just as wide as a smartphone body itself accompanied by lenses larger than a gaming laptop, but not on a sub-1" mobile camera sensor, absolutely not. But marketing is the only thing that truly matters and everything else comes distant second amirite?

Guy said that 600MP sensor will bring more details,but he forgot to mention it`ll bring a s..tload of noise along...pixels will be,what,0,1 microns in size and it will have 1000x Spacecrap useless zoom..saw samples of S20 Ultra..few hundred bucks more will get me Fuji XT4 camera.Thats like somebody told you-you can have a brandnew 50cc scooter or for a few hundred more you can have a Ducati...

But completely useless just like 1.3" 108mp compared to 1.7" 12mp sensor they use in S20, difference is absymal because there is hell a lot more to a sensor than mp count and size.

Yes cameras are cheaper, but can they answer a call, or open my email? Can i play games with a camera? Can my camera open documents, can i read a book in it? Can i surf? Can i update my claendar with it?

Stupid decision ever made. Does he even knows small smartphone sensor needs balancing between megapixel, sensor & pixel size. Look what happen with S20 Ultra, abysmal mess.
Heck even medium format sensor doesnt pass 160mp in native res. Why the h3ll u want to use 600mp on a tiny bit smartphone? Sounds like pure marketing to attract average joe.

I feel 12mp quad camera can do better than this gimmicks

Your cat won't ever be out of focus because that Sony have probably the best autofocus you can get for the money,that Real Time Tracking works brilliantly..and it costs half of that S20 Ultra joke, it's compact in size but still shoots 10x better pictures..in all scenarios.

500 MP ca... more49 Bayer is one of the most useless concept I've ever come across since I became a full-blown tech enthusiasts and probably something I wouldn't like to hear ever again. But as much as I DON'T want it to become true, I have a feeling that smartphone/camera sensor manufacturers will find a way to cram in more useless pixels to make it look like they're making a progress when they really aren't.
