Nekko, 23 May 2012Nokia 808 is born legend. No other phones will trump it for... moreAre you kidding?!? Performance wise it's no better than what is on the market already, let alone being burdened with a dead OS! The only thing it does better is it's camera, and if you was that bothered about a camera you'd buy a stand-alone for 1/4 of the price that will perform as well if not better!

This is dad news. Belle FP1 is so much better than both Windows Phone and Android ICS. Tried all of them already. And Symbian have the potential to be even better if only they don't kill it. Well, I guess Nokia is so fucked up now. It's not the same good old Nokia that we used to love anymore. It's Microsoft's puppet now. anyways, I'll still be buying the 808 PureView when it launches in my country. The phone doesn't die when software support ends. Belle FP1 is perfect already so it doesn't need more updates. Can't wait to get an 808!!!

Nokia 808 is born legend. No other phones will trump it for years to come. Despite no major updates for Symbian, at least it is perfectly usable without any problems. Well, who needs major updates anyway if the phone is already working fine. For instance "Yay i have updated to Ice Cream Sandwich.. Wow.. Look at these new improvement.. Fascinating!" After a few days it will be the same smartphone you use for calling, texting, taking pictures with those 8MP cameras, surfing and all. Get it?

So what if they're about to bring out the 808 and the OS will be cancelled before release, look and what they did to the N9, cancelled Meego on the day of release. Sounds like Nokia is quickly headed down the plug hole. I personally can't stand the WP7 UI as i'm sure many others do. It'll be a shame to see a company that was once top of the market go the way of the dodo because desk jockeys care more about signing contracts for money rather than providing handsets that people want to buy.

                            WHY?

all efforts into WP? how? because is not their OS!!!

come on the salvation is SYMBIAN not WP!!!

symbian rulez: multitasking for years, low resource demand, great battery

I don't want my smartphone not to be mobile anymore... with iOS/Android/WP have to find a plug continuously.

I will keep my symbians close until my devices will run... N8 E7 and onTheWay 808

Samsung manages bada which got opera yesday ,yet Nokia can't manage symbian ,which is ecosystem too , and with Nokia store having 1.7k apps .really shame .
