did not know that redmi note 7 is the benchmark camera to compare to... lol ... i bet when pixel 4a come to the market.. it will be 2x the price of redmi note 7 ..

Nah, i prefer better hardware on Redmi Note since it has potential to have the same camera app as the Pixel have.
Yes, yes, we know they have an exceptional image processing, but Google needs to upgrade their camera hardware. You could keep the 12MP but with larger sensor, please.

Why google compares 4a to note 7 as pixel 4a will cost 399 dollara and note 7 had starting price 199 and now can be bought even cheaper, thats nonsense, they should be comparing to xiaomi mi note 10 as it cost around 450 bucks

S10 is a better phone without problems. I said Samsung S10 as an example. Mi Note 10 is also a better phone with a lot more features and also better cameras. Honor 20 Pro too, and a lot more phones.
This one is no more than a featureless phone overpriced cheap phone. Built with cheap materials, cheap cameras, cheap SoC but with high price. In fact, a premium price being a 4G phone today.

I'm excited for the Pixel 4a, but this comparison is nonsense. The Redmi Note 7 is a year and a half old and never cost $400 at any point in it's life cycle. A comparison for with the Redmi Note 7 Pro would have been a little more fair since it uses a much better Sony sensor than the Samsung one found in the vanilla RN7. But either way comparing to a phone that cost twice as much and is a 18 months newer makes no sense.
