ok, this is weird.
How can some thing named "Carla" before, now become FP1?
If they meant it, why don't they said it in the first place, that FP1 is Carla?
Or they just don't want bad reputation that they have canceled Carla, and maybe Donna?
FP2 will be Donna?
And what about the promised they had made a couple of months ago about upcoming "Donna devices"?
Wow, Nokia, you such a good lier, and admire that!
Well, guess no more Nokia's products for me then. What if someday they don't support even their Lumia-s anymore?

This Update has already been received by all Belle users 6 weeks back and the CPU has been over clocked to 1.3Ghz. This is outdated news. If this is Carla update then I think my phone is already running Symbian Carla. Dolby 5.1 surround is present. HTML changes can also be found. What is it that Nokia is trying to say now.This is total fake news!!

Look at sofware version of the device used in the test beside the Carla/Belle FP1 name in both links. The FP2 in bug report 862 is killing me, because it is suggesting there is FP2 before Belle FP 1. I came to the conclusion which goes like this: "First there was Symbian^3 then Symbian Anna(FP1) then Nokia Belle (FP2) after which came Nokia Belle FP1(Nokia Carla)& Nokia Belle FP2 (Nokia Donna).

guys i think i already got the update because i bought my 701 on may the first and checked for update and i found and download it it was 27 MBs and i then checked device manager by entering the code *#0000* and in the release it was written nokia belle fp1.

Maybe it's time someone gets a contract out for wacking Mr. Elop and a change in it's leadership would help clean up all the dirty tactics in dodging your 2016 commitments as you had previously loudly promised us. I dont get it. How coud it be canceled in the firs place? A friend af mine got the update 2 or 3 weeks ago on his 701. The FP1 version for 701 is 112.110.1404 and build date is 30.03.2012 .

Nokia seem to have mastered the art of self destruct.
1. Meamo never launched globally, when it reached market it was already announced replaced by Meego.
2. S60 replaces Symbiam3. Excellent move, but launced no device with Auto Focus camera. Fixed focus can't scan QR codes. E7 wasted as a top class business phone.
3. Masterpiece never rolled out of factory. N9 oh such a waste of effort. I might just buy one for heck of it, but for that it has to be sold.
4. Symbian showed glimmer of hope with Anna, just then annouce Accenture will now support the product.
5. Excellent experience with Belle. Roadmap of Carla and Donna shown to customers. 808 announced. All very positive past half a year. Now we come to know about this story. Forget camera for a minute, give me a good second reason why I buy N808.

may be 603,700 and 701 have dual core arm 11 processor and it Will be revealed after donna(fp2) update...:-)as we saw nfc in c7 after Anna update...

Guys I think MR.Elop is killing symbian before the 2016 commitment and wants NOKIA FANBOYS to move to Windows.... According to this link http://mobigyaan.com/nokia-carla-is-not-belle-fp1-and-will-arrive-after-fp2 nokia was working on carla which was supposed to be released after fp1 and fp2 but now they have cancelled it which means that fp1 and fp2 are minor updates and ofcourse the LAST UPDATES FOR SYMBIAN..... *cries*
